A great old-school, (light) roguelike game. Many options, entertainment, great graphics and music, although I'd like to see more acts and some better-balanced options for characters. A little bit more variety in acts would be the greatest way to make this game even better. 4/5!
The previous game was very nice, and the prequel is even better. Longer, more things to do, and the same awesome atmosphere. The tiger secret was a nice touch, too. 5/5.
At first I thought that it was another crappy Escape-the-room games, but it actually is really interesting- provided that you like surreal stuff like me. Nice game, nice applies of "dream" logic, and AWESOME music. too bad that I didn't exactly understand what happened in the end, but this is part of the game's beauty. 5 stars from me.
I see that you keep getting better and better at adventure games... congratulation! Urbex was highly enjoyable, like most of your games. It was sufficiently long, too! 5/5
very nice game (more of a choose-your-own-adventure, i guess...?), it captures the "band of adventurers" style of D&D, although it is a bit short... any chances of a longer sequel with more options?
very good, although it should have been a little bit longer... apart from that, it was a solid game! 4/5, and it could have been 5/5 if it wasn't so short.
You know what, when I first heard of a kickstarter project for a flash game I thought "give me a break." But after playing the demo, I have to say that I'm surprised by its quality. VERY nice animation, interesting and professional voice-acting, and the puzzles look promising... even though there's only one "puzzle" in the demo. I'd really love to help you guys, this looks worth the money for the kickstarter...
simple but entertaining game i liked the fact that it had some similar game mechanics with last stand 1 and 2... but it's a solid game none the less. it would be even better if it had some simple RPG elements. 4/5
the game should give to the players more control over the battles. i see my character continuously use magic spells against opponents who usually ignore them. such a problem would be easily avoidable if only i could choose what to do during the fight... nice game apart from that, 4/5
nice game but the writing needs more work... there were quite a few mistakes. other than that it looks interesting enough to make me want to play the rest of the episodes
Cheers for the feedback, im combing through the writing before I start Episode two. I'm also hoping to port the episodes to android whenever I get the opportunity.
i think that we all agree on getting upgrades for the tank, extra weapons (upgradeable, obviously), some challenges, more "maps"/stages, that kind of thing
episode 5 is a MAJOR improvement over the previous episodes. the only "problem" is that it's a bit short... 4/5, i'd give it a perfect 5/5 if it was longer :-)
Thanks, The thing is filesizes are still an issue online so there's a limit to how big the game can be, that and the fact that I'm a just one man team, I can only do so much ;-) That said, more escape games are coming from me very soon and another Episode of Being One later this year!!
ok, i just finished the game. i enjoyed, although the plot was a bit cheesy and childish at some points (even though i liked the "war" cries of the units!). 4/5 and i would have given it more if there were some kind of universal upgrades
a new RPG that is not crappy like some others? check. awesome artwork that reminds of your other games? check. nice music? check. some good humor tidbits? check. an interesting scenario idea? check?
man i sure do love your games. you should try some more rpg-making if you ask me, you seem to have the hang for it! 5/5
nice game although it is too short. i haven't encountered any of the bugs other people say, maybe the developer fixed them :/ i also enjoyed the ending. looked like it was open to interpretation :-P 4/5, could get a 5/5 if it was longer
I LOVED the soldiers' characterisation and skill trees. finally a game where the scout plays like a scout, the heavy weaps expert plays like a heavy weaps expert, etc. really good details in the soldiers' skills and abilities.
however... the missions are all the "same". go to 1-2 points in the map as fast as you can, then go to the next 1-2 points as fast as you can, repeat until the map is over. i think the game (or a sequel) would need more options/differences on the objectives, AND different layouts in the maps. just more graphics. don't get me wrong, the graphics are OK but they're getting boring after a while... apart from that, this is a very good strategy game and i wish there's gonna be a sequel!
