On my second go I figured out the easiest way for me was to level up health regen and reload, then go to town with the shotguns. I didn't use the car at all, just hopped around and killed anything and then hopefully had some time to repair the car. I bought mines when I was surrounded and medkits if I really needed them.
Once i was comfortable killing everything i started leveling my car repair speed and cash drops.
At first it feels like an impossible task, but with a good strategy you can have loads of fun.
It's really great how flash games have developed. There have been loads of interesting game-play and story concepts that you never see in the big console & pc games. Its great that a flash dev can avoid having to "play it safe" and try crazy new stuff.
lol, a game about collecting stars and coins. Secret stars too.... and i cannon you can use to get to the top of the tower only when you have got all the stars... around 120 stars in total... hmmmm reminds me of a game i used to love ;)
Now, i don't want to sound like those who have criticized this game already. The idea was interesting and i really liked to see the themes that came from it. BUT, to be truly honest, the gameplay was dull. The controls felt a bit slugish and its was challenging for the wrong reasons. Some less able players might have difficulty completing this game simply because many aspects are very frustrating. IMO, in a "game-as-art" game, i do not be frustrated.
I may be missing the point, this may have been an intentional design, but if it's not fun, it's not fun. So i'm gonna give it a 3/5 which means I "liked" it. Don't get all flamey and thumbs-downy on me please.
Great! Hard enough to challenge but fun enough to keep playing. I love the level style and the star collecting system. There's something great about seeing your little metal spider thing walk across thin air and jumping to invisible platforms that is just... great!
Wow, some of these flash games really do have some very sad and wonderful stories... shame the big game devs can't seem to understand how to use this in their games...
Kiete5, it says in the help section that you can combine objects. It annoys me when people complain about the lack of information on how to play when they haven't read the help section.
I don't get people. OMG you NEED to pay... and you only get some extra things... wait, doesnt that mean you PAY for EXTRAS? You don't need to pay. However, i do hate games that always seem to give you a taster but you need to pay for the rest.
I agree with many of the comments here, you seem to do the same thing for ages.. You could call it releaxing, but i dont think its very releaxing, mor tedious.
