Pretty lame that there are no upgrades. Seeing that this was made by Matt of EBF and Bullet Heaven 1 I bought the extra content immediately. A sad lesson that we can't trust developers on faith - everything Matt has released so far has been magnificent, but I suppose I should have checked to make sure this game was decent before buying the extra content. I hope the developer honors fan trust more in the future.
The damage zone for your character should be where your cursor point is, not some random spot above it. It could also use more descriptive descriptions for upgrades. Still, a fairly solid game with a very likeable main character.
Right now it's only used to make the towns you fight scale up in difficulty (but also giver higher population gains). Eventually, once Heroes are in, it'll be used as a currency as well.
This game would be better if the colony influence was cumulative. It would be nice to play this game casually knowing that even if you took a different path to making a colony, your new colony would be better than your current one.
Great game, but a very weak finish. I am seriously confused by the kraken. Sometimes it takes damage from being shot, sometimes it decides it should be invincible? Sometimes it regains ALL of its health even if you put the shield up in time? Sometimes its tentacle smash does 400 damage, sometimes 0? What the heck is going on here?
Well if you already been hit by something them you won't get a damage. So its kinda dirty way to avoid it. But still when he hit ship he heal himself so you should stop him anyway.
What's the point of speed? I have three shooters and one melee. I upgraded speed from 10 to 19, tried the same fights, and actually did WORSE than before I upgraded it.
Freezes as soon as the second level starts. Which may be alright anyway, since the control scheme is really bizarre. Shouldn't use the same button to skip turns as to initiate spellcasting...
Very strange. What kind of browser are you using? Try to force a reload: Right click on the game, select "This Frame" > "Reload Frame". If it still doesn't work, could you open the developer tools console (usually F12 or CTRL+SHIFT+i, you might have to select the console tab in the new toolbar) and send the contents to support@HypnoticOwl.com? Would be a great help!
What's the deal with difficulty? Do you get more rewards of some kind for playing on harder difficulties? Also, I still have no idea how to buy more units. Cool idea but kind of a weird implementation.
Players can hire new units just in certain moments (the deployment mode).
And yes, right now higher levels of difficulty is rewarded just by additional challenge. Right now there's nothing I can do with it, really (
You're missing the Wages research:)
