I could've sworn I had put them both on the moon and they were kissing at one point, but I panicked and moved them off because the moon was sinking. Now I can't recreate the kiss. Am I just crazy, was that never possible?
Strategy for impossible badge: NoLegs with standard sub-weapon and enhanced power up duration costume + Shield Drops + Sword Drops + More Power-Ups + Bullet Speed +15% (doesn't matter how fast enemy bullets are if you're reflecting them) + pray for consecutive drops on bosses
A tip that you may or may not find helpful: there's a reason it beeps every time you make a transition. Experiment, listen to the beep pattern of your successful forays, then follow that beat every time and keep building upon it until you reach the next checkpoint.
Looks like the floating structure on the top left of the Fifteenth Dimension is a replica of the chute you fall down in the First Dimension. It's impossible to reach it from the Fifteenth because it's completely blocked by a solid wall. However you can reach the ledge from the First Dimension with at least a Winged Boots +6 and some Books of Wind (jump from the spinning platforms). Unfortunately, an invisible wall blocks your progress further left or up, and the two unknown figures remain tantalizingly inaccessible.
Nice game off a simple concept; one complaint I have is that lunging distance seems very inconsistent. I would often target an enemy clearly in range and come up a little short, leading to death. Or I would target an enemy in close proximity and end up sliding across the whole screen, leaving me in an unintended vulnerable spot.
Good game, just a couple things: I would have liked to see riflemen replaced by auto riflemen upon purchase of that upgrade. Also, in endless mode I noticed that in the latter stages, every 100m or so 4 or 5 of my guys would lose about half of their health; dunno if this is a glitch.
I thought the final part of level 57 was the hardest part by far. So satisfying once you clear the obstacles and just float freely on to victory . . . and this game should have the Good Music tag; loved the soundtrack.
On the levels with invisible blocks, there's always an open path along the very top. Just a matter of dodging the stuff that shows up there while hell goes on below .
It's not the guy from Take on Me! ;)
