It will never cease to amaze me how my last half dozen crew members are able to fire three dozen cannons at a rate of a dozen cannonballs per second per cannon whilst firing fireworks into a boarding action against 3 frigates and 1 flagship whilst also summoning the forces of ocean devilry to defeat the enemy whilst outnumbered several thousand to one whilst also steering the ship.
As far as I'm aware, each crew member of this ship must be a captain in his own right and have replaced most of his limbs with cannons to maintain such efficiency.
Bug - driving a vehicle past the visible scroll screen makes them vanish into thin air. I assume they're going back to the future, but still it's disconcerting.
Damage reflection is just wonderful. Got a warrior with 200% reflection, mage with 73%, cleric with 147% and a conjurer with 138%. And since everything in hardcore mode is tougher... Well it's a great deal easier to kill things when they kill themselves.
HA HA HAH HA I love this game! The dwarves and orcs have started a massive siege war with me >:)
Towers everywhere.... And the orcs are using mass battering rams :D
>Demons are still op lol
Forgot to add, though I doubt you don't already know unless you're a novice, is that military buildings (given time), build troops! I.e. a blacksmith makes catapults for free if it has space too, and is given enough time.
There is an easy way to win with all the races, humans - batte sprites. Dwafs - Dwarfs and Dragons. Orcs - Demons.
Keep on attacking high income neutrals (not forts), and only ever build defences if your offensive grounds to a halt. Useful tip, the enemy will always attack an unmanned fief with 4 units, which are easily killed with the 3 towers. And if one tactic fails, another one is opened :D
He he, just come up with an idea - what if we could train up our survivors? I.e. training a soldier in the school as a soldier would make him... A more efficient zombie wacking machine >;P
5969720, I had all researches done (par zombie cure), and 1% chance of being overrun, and they smashed through a church, sure, the chance was MASSIVELY small, but after 200 rounds, it is bound to happen at least once ;P
Look guys, if you want to go for badges, I've got some tips.
Recruit as many surivors as possible - always max out your pop, and scavenging is a must until you can sustain yourself by farms. Schools are very important, they should be your no.1 priority building, then lab, then happiness buildings, with farms and occupations when the need arises, and the hospital being important - but don't compromise your integrity for it.
Scouting an area before you conduct a mission greatly reduces the risk for subsequent missions, and if the risk is above 20%, on harder and nightmare that usually means someone will die.
Also, one soldier should be spared to protect your builders when reclaiming, it shouldn't hurt ;]
All in all, you should try to keep the surface area of your city as low as possible, if you can get to a corner, keep it nice and square, if you get pinned down to a point where you can't stop guarding without being overun, you've lost.
Last tip, it takes a lot of time, and luck!
because kof, if the patrol radius was always on max you could end up with some really bad problems, i.e. all your troops swarming that one dwarf while 500 paladins walk unharassed through your base, or having your entire army getting wiped out by the dreaded spawn point. You might also just want your troops to wait until the enemy is right in front of their base so they don't have to go through a whithering hail of fire.
