Looks like most of the time spent loading is for the audio. I can't be the only one who plays games muted most of the time so it would be nice if there were a way to load it WITHOUT the audio for those of us who won't be using it anyway. Might speed things along somewhat.
I like this game and I enjoyed it but...if I need to make 'par' could someone have the good grace to tell me what 'par for each level is??d grace to tell me what 'par' for each level is??
This is really entertaining. I'm enjoying the depth of the story and the various directions it can take. Really the only thing I'd ask for is auto-save or some sort of prompt to save the game at important points.
Thanks. It is hard to tell which choices really matter since all of them make a difference in the story outcome. If you side with Adam but are mean to him the rest of the time, you will end stuck with his bad ending. So most time, it is better to start over from the beginning. You can replay the game easily by skipping the part you've already read by holding the CTRL key. Holding CTRL+SHIFT goes faster and CTRL+< even more. Don't hesitate to ask for help. Would a walkthrough be of any use?
Watching the text appear so slowly was a little annoying until I sorted out that if I click the screen it all comes up at once. I ran into a little difficulty trying to remember how the heck to spell Hieronimus but overall this is pretty good. It just needs to be longer.
this is a lovely idea however...it does not work. I've now tried 2 computers, 3 browsers, and several different sites. The most I've been able to do is plant some grass. None of the 'help' is any help. I give up. Sorry to say it but 1 out of 5 for failure to execute.
Well I've now wasted entirely too much time on this! FINALLY I have all the stuff and have repaired the suit. Now hints are telling me to 'show something to the AI" then return to the Farm for help. I've showed the AI everything I can find, even went back and showed it all again with the suit activated for good measure. Still nothing happening in the Farm. What am I missing???
Great concept. From the description I'd love to give it a try but the game never loads. I'm using Chrome, anyone getting better results on another browser?
Am I the only one a little confused here? The description of this game makes it sound like the point is to collect all ths information before it can be made public. The way game play is set up seems to be designed to do exactly the opposite--to put as many bits of information out there as possible. Whether these are facts or fiction of the writer's devising I don't know but it makes the game itself seem to have been created with ulterior motives.
I don't mean to be unkind but this is positively wretched. I used a walk-through to find a way out of the house (be sure to read everything then look carefully at everything hanging on the wall if you're trying this) but I almost wish I hadn't. This is the single most dismal and cringe worthy game I've played on this site or others (and honestly, there have been some real winners.) One character commits suicide specifically because of something the player does. In case there's any doubt about it the text is practically "you made this happen."
Short games have never been an issue for me, in fact I sometimes prefer them because I'm looking to kill just a little bit of time. That doesn't mean I like something that feels rushed of pieced together whether a game is short or long.
I haven't started yet and I'm already annoyed. This is tagged as 'Mouse Only" and these are the instructions "Use the mouse to connect all the cells of the same color. Use the mouse wheel to switch between unconnected colors. Use SPACE to freeze the cube. Use CTRL to clear the cell." Bit more than the mouse in play here or is it just me??
I liked this except for one thing. The whole "beam of light" thing near the end gave me a blazing migraine. Could be I already had one coming on today (why else am I doing THIS at work??) Besides that it was fun, clever and compact. I would have said visually appealing but...
oookay then--the name ought to have been a clue but hey, I'll give nearly anything a try. Still, in the second scene I should have known to bail when there were actual alligator lizards in the sky (anyone who gets that reference--you are my people) Frankly I didn't know people were still doing THOSE drugs anymore.
I love these games--they're very original and soooooo creepy but the mouse lag (and occasional mouse death) has my pulling my hair. There's a note on this one that it's been 'fixed' but as far as I can tell it's actually worse.
Sorry, currently there is no way to exclude the audio and I don't want to either as the music sets half the mood for the game. Thanks for playing :)
