The beginning spaceship speed is way too slow. I recommend that you tune that. Than it will be better. You could also try to make the asteroids harder to defeat. I don't prefer Instakill.

I thinking about adding more ships. Some ships would have the ability to withstand more hits.
I'm also thinking about adding more levels, some where asteroids get strong but don't increase in numbers, other levels would gave enemies.
Would that make the game interesting enough? or do you rather have other stuff added first?
Good game with some good music for your game but , if you want to make this game better you have to improve the hitboxes and Give it a death score (it always fun to see how much you died after winning this game). I like also the graphics!! 5/5
