The scaling is completely messed up. If I go back to the basic stage, a level 2 enemy can do 200+ damage to a character with 150+ DEF and RES. Looking at the enemy stats it is supposed to do 12-14 damage and have about 20 STR and INT.
This is broken. As in this game has fundamental flaws. It is lying to you so much about what is happening that I can't trust it or properly play it.
There are minor issues such as the tooltips for items appearing off the screen so you have to equip something to read the tooltip, or the drop down lists not being wide enough to read the options, but when the basic game is broken so much it's ridiculous.
Quick, before the bug gets patched- in level 6, the challenge mode is primary weapons only, but if you click on the icon at the bottom left then you still select the grenade or machete. This means you can still cheese the level with molotovs.
I could really do with a "this is how you move one to another". Because sometimes when I click, a stack I'm not expecting to move decides to move. It would really have helped if it had specifically said that clicking an empty box moves the ones from above it in the order left then right.
The exit door to the next level just disappeared. I killed the boss, then went to explore the rest of the level. Upon return, the door had disappeared.
Incredibly counter-intuitive start to the game, and it is depressingly slow. I had no idea whether any of my selections within the initial menu were actually doing anything, and then it comes up with "DSO_DIALOGUE_GAME_WINDOW_TITLE" and tries to create a pop up window. I wanted to like this game, but I couldn't even start playing it.
Very enjoyable game, but I did find that it seemed to start to slow down and have lag after a while of playing, and Flash died temporarily twice. And by a while I mean less than an hour.
Amazing game, with some nice social commentary and incredibly evocative and emotional storytelling, with just basic text and some really nice and simple animation.
I did notice two spelling mistakes- an "I'v" instead of "I've", probably in the bull bile fight, and "whill" instead of "will" in the section where the three bounty hunters surround you.
Saying that the crashes should be ignored because the game is still in beta is stupid- the game has been publicly playable since August 2012. That's over 2 years. If it is still crashing now then there is something very wrong.
If you're getting just a white screen, it's because Unity is being blocked, either by your browser or an addon. For me it was Chrome itself, and there was a message at the right of the address bar letting me accept plugins.
The clicking is really frustrating- i've made mistakes a couple of dozen times not due to my fault, but because it doesn't properly recognise swapping the X for the / and i think it's currently on the x.
Very nice, but once you work out the pattern it is just putting the numbers in. Maybe if you started having more shapes- e.g. having a net of two cubes connected by an edge all being the same colour, or a 1x1x2 cuboid. You could even start having symbols rather than numbers, although that could be slightly confusing.
