Great game, the jump in difficulty caught me for a sec, but progression kept going after playing a couple challenge levels and switching tactics, so it didn't feel like grinding. That being said, I wish I hadn't read weirdofromhalo's comment about the AK+Molotovs approach ... made it too easy lol
@EiraMMariE it's not a bug-- it's the CPU being smart :) ... if you hold just one die instead of two, then you have a greater chance of rolling a higher-scoring combo on your next roll (because you'll have more dice left to roll with)
I want that illustration on the main menu as a giant poster ... minus the buttons, but with all the glorious-freeway-furious epicness intact and high-res
Its the little things that I love the most ... sure that button could've just said 'okay' or 'continue' ... but instead it says 'send the survivors some swag, too' 5/5
For people having a hard time following Marvaddins strategy, I made a video (162k points). Vote up if its helpful so others will see :) ---- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K6O_Z4Osqk
@BunnyMatt ... the mathematical likelihood of that having happened is so astronomically low that it makes much more sense to simply not believe you. In conclusion, QUIT LYIN' LIL DUDE
News lady: "Adelaide is a city on the eastern shores of Gulf St. Vincent, on the Adelaide Plains, north of the Fleurieu Peninsula, between Gulf St. Vincent and the low-lying Mount Lofty Ranges"
....
Yeah, I still have no idea where Adelaide is.
Beautiful photos, love how the difficulty ramps up, love the attention to detail (music mutes when you click off screen, alignment has a few pixels of leniency). But mostly I love the end screen with the rolls of hundred dollar bills :D
I was a little overwhelmed at first, what with all the stuff everywhere. But I got the hang of it, and then I got a little hooked. Beat the three stages, got a couple achievements and enjoyed an hour of craziness. Thanks, Dev!
I dodged the lasers, plasma bolts and fireballs being shot at me. I avoided the land mines. Hell, I even leapt from my ride onto my foes, after I shot him down. But then I hit too many orange traffic cones, and exploded.
@GabePuratekuta when you go to select your driver, you can click on the 'his/her weapons' button right above their names-- that will show the stats for each weapon, both the upgrade-able (damage, accuracy, capacity) and the earn-able (aiming, handling, reloading)
If you're having the unstoppable swerve issue (car gets stuck steering towards one direction, resulting in constant building-smashing and general lack of control), try hitting 'P' to pause as soon as it happens and then click 'Resume' to unpause (instead of hitting 'P' again). For some reason this mouse interaction when its paused seems to un-stick the steering for me, maybe it will for you too.
dunno if i'm missing something but it won't let me pass Wave 1 ... I kill the three boats/humans and then I'm just swimming around til I run out of food or let myself die, and then I still keep swimming ... 0/200 health, empty stomach & lungs and yet i keep swimming. The fish don't swim away from me anymore but I can't eat them. A bug, or a special place in whale hell?
"Recruitment Success! Shoeshine and Goober had been holed up in that motel for weeks ..."
I don't want to know how two grown men go into a motel and come out weeks later with those names ...
