Where the hell did my saved game go? I checked all the settings on Java, made sure everything was right, tested it half a dozen times, played for a couple days and everything was always saved every time I went back to the game, including windows shut downs and rebooting the whole computer. No issues.
Then I log on today and its all gone? Never happened with any other game on Kongregate.
Somebody tell me the save files are hiding somewhere!
As far as game-play, graphics, and realism, this may be the best game on Kongregate. As a currently serving Army infantry officer, I was highly impressed with the details of weapons, vehicles, and military history. Just plain outstanding - and a lot of fun! Now hurry up and make a sequel .... pay close attention to some of the smart suggestions in the comments ... and make it much longer!
1 star for the ridiculous money-gouging on a free site.
Give people an OPTION to pay money for OPTIONAL content and you'll succeed. Do it this way and you're guaranteed to fail in the long run.
And you're just pissing off future customers.
Not a particularly fun game ... but I have to give you high marks for originality. Most games here are just copies of something else. This is definitely new. 4/5.
Most of the problems with this game could be fixed by adding a simple timer: if your stack hasn't collapsed in 15 or 20 seconds (or whatever), you move on to the next level. Obviously, waiting minutes and then having it fall apart is not working.
A game with serious potential largely ruined because of a very awkward combat system and no tutorial.
Teach us how to play; make it make sense; then expand the game. Do that and it gets 5/5.
This game is an old favorite I'm happy to return to ... but disappointed that after waiting so long, the badges don't work.
I was ranked all the way up to General. No badges. So I started over ... and even though I just got the ribbon for 100 kills, I can't get the badge. Nor can I get the 50 waves badge. Please fix this.
Followed user "Fortwente"'s strategy guide (look back 3-4 pages) almost exactly, and it worked like a charm. After trying a dozen times on my own to get the hard badge, I did it with no problem using his strategy. Great game - but it desperately needs a save function! 5/5
I really want to rate this game highly - since I enjoyed the first so much - but I just don't see the point of putting hours into a game if I never know when the save files will disappear. The other disappointments I can live with ... but that makes it a 1/5.
Where is all the saved data going? I asked before, and now I see I'm not alone. Any help on this?
Ironically, I checked Feudalism I - and all my old saved data from 6 months ago is still there. But I played this for hours yesterday, and its gone.
To say that this makes the game weaker (on top of all the other disappointments noted below) is the understatement of the century.
Where did the save files go? I played for hours yesterday, and I was careful to save not only once, but to all three save files. And now - nothing. Any help?
Probably the best graphics and gameplay of any game on Kongregate. Comparable to older console games. Hard to believe this is a flash game. Well done. 5.5 !
Clever game, excellent atmospherics and musical effects. You definitely need to fix the bug that causes inadvertent switching cannons - and it really, really needs an improvaed save/autosave function. Still an easy 4/5. Very original.
