Having played Decision 1 & 2 before, I would be lying if I said that I wasn't interested in Decision: Medieval. As a connoisseur of Fantasy RPGs, the mixture of Zombie sword hack'n'slash seemed to be right up my alley. While I wasn't disappointed in what I expected from this game, that is also its main fault: It's predictable and repetitive in that you're essentially doing the same thing as the last two, only with a bow and melee weapons instead of miniguns and rocket launchers. While there were unique aspects, I feel like the developers need to crank out a fresh concept to keep the Decision series alive or be swallowed by the same problem that big console developers suffer from: rehashed gameplay. Good game nonetheless. 4/5 stars.

Oh, and one more thing. Checking the bestiary on bosses fought in the past plus my experience in fighting new ones leads me to surmise that all the debuffs learned as a Trickster are utterly useless. I say this because each boss seems resistant to all status ailments and no enemy lives long enough to be considered a threat because I have two magic-proficient party members and three characters that can hit for decent physical damage so non-boss mobs die rather quickly, so it would be a waste of precious MP to try and Silence/Armor Down/etc. In short, make it so that bosses can actually be debuffed.

Also, I can't help but smell a Chrono Trigger reference from Kaz. Blue skin, odd-colored hair, wields a scythe, enemy to the main character at first but then recruited later. I mean, come on.

A really well put-together game overall, and from what I've played of it so far, it is a promising sequel to Crystal Story I. My only problem being that the storyline progresses too quickly that it makes the dungeons almost tedious (like unwelcome breaks) to go through despite being a major feature. I mean, I've spent less than an hour playing and I already have the full party. Anyway, on to the suggestions: More customization. We get pets, we get different weapons with unique stats and effects, but there's no visible change to our characters. They just swing the same boring weapons around every time. The only thing that changes is what your slime looks like when you summon it to attack your enemies. Staring at the same thing with the background shifting once in a while adds to the tedium I mentioned before.

Good job on this sequel, Toge! I'm really impressed that you somehow managed to make another hit game. I can see several improvements over the first yet everything also appears similar, giving Infectonator fans a sense of familiarity. An over-all excellent strategy-based time waster. You've got my 5 stars of approval.

Great time waster with pretty models and fairly decent gameplay. However, it seemed to only get easier. 4/5 and looking forward to a sequel.

A well-made game, for as basic and mindless as it is. Despite the lack of exploration in possible weapons, next to no storyline, and the lackluster upgrades, I'm willing to give this game a 4/5. I'm sure that developer participation in heeding the words of the community will serve to make an excellent sequel.

Previous comment aside, it's good to see that the series is still going despite the long amount of waiting in-between releases. This is definitely the best one yet, and I'm already looking forward to badges and SCGMD5. Good luck and keep up the good work! 5/5 + Favorited.

Another Facebook game dragged onto Kongregate to try and drum up more idiots to pay for their half-assed work. Contrary to above popular comment, it is once again just a Stamina/Energy dump like many other clones of its kind. The only perks this offers is decent graphics and the storyboard writers were actually literate. That's pretty much it.

I have to agree with Gnmsh. This is one of the best flash RPGs I have ever played. The graphics were decent and the storyline was very gripping. The combat system seemed fairly balanced, and I can tell a lot of work went into this game, especially from only one person. I'd have to say that the Rogue Assassin is my favorite class and tree and outdid Rogan in damage all the time. A 5 out of 5 and a favorite. Congratulations, and keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to the sequel.

It's honestly not that hard to trigger all of the reactions. It just takes a lot of tedious work and time investment. You can literally spend an entire day on this game alone just to figure everything out. My only irk is that, days after I've finished and since refreshed my browsing history, I've got to do it all over again. xD Oh well. I'm an achievement whore so it doesn't bother me that much.
