I think level 24 is broken. Most of the monsters spawn in the center island where they can't get anywhere. Only a couple medics spawn on the actual track.
Still a fun game, but needs polish. Twenty-two levels in total, but they try to stretch it out by asking us to play each one twelve times. The interface has some brokenness, for example the Next Level button doesn't work right. Every level (?) can be beaten by an area-damage tower plus a range-increase tower.
Fun game, but there are some exploits. You can kill enemy cities by using terraform to remove the ground under them. Also, the last few levels can be cleared easily by building your cities one level higher and then casting Water Storm until everyone else drowns.
Fun at first, but gets repetitive toward the end. This game needs more variety: more different weapons (there's currently no reason to use anything but the rocket launcher), more different mission types, more different zombies. (Zombies can be mutated with horrible powers, but they're not supposed to be able to use technology like guns.)
It would be nice if the hit point displays were a little clearer. Most of my time I spend looking at the main screen, and sometimes I look over to the left and my hit point meter is revolving like mad and I have no idea how I'm doing.
Also would be nice if we had a better idea how Concentration works. I couldn't figure it out so I just never used it.
The game crashes partway through Ice Incarnate. :(
(I'm using the four Elemental Storms, plus Treasure Hunt and Eternal Rage and healing, for combat, if that helps search for a bug.)
I would like to be able to see the whole level at once. Is there a way to do that? For example I'm on level 21 and I don't really understand what's on the bottom half of the level. I've only seen glimpses of it as it spins up when the level starts, and that doesn't tell me what the levers do.
This game is awesome.
If you have spare cycles, before ending the level you can go lock+unlock a door lots of times. You quickly get a 10x combo bonus which gives 44 or 56 dollars per click.
Lots of bells and whistles! But the combat is way boring, just clicking "attack" over and over. And the early defense maps are even worse. Maybe it gets better later on, but I'm not sure it's worth the drudgery to find out.
This is maddening. Do I want to help the adventurers or hurt them? "Injured adventurers will spend more on overpriced healing." -- does that mean I gain money or lose money? "Try to design a floor that avoids fighting too many minions." -- what? I thought fighting minions was the point!
The screen scrolling on this game is really counterintuitive! When I shoot somebody, I want to see whether they died or not. If I shoot someone and the game immediately scrolls the screen off elsewhere it's very frustrating.
One fix might be to pan the view out so that we can see the whole board?
The enemy shot me with a cluster bomb, and one of the bomblets is circling my planet endlessly. Like it's been five minutes. Pressing Esc doesn't seem to let me quit the level. :(
I don't care that it's easy, this game is awesome. I was a little sad that apparently I can't buy more than 13 launchers (?), which thwarted my plan to cover the floor with them. But maybe that is fair.
Interesting ideas, pretty graphics, but needs some tuning. For example, there are only three kinds of defenses you can build, and two of them (cannons and traps) are mostly useless.
