First ever Point+Click game I ever beat with no Walkthrough. The reason I didn't? It would've spoiled the surprise and true scariness of this game. And oh boy am I glad I didn't. You balanced the atmosphere with the graphics PERFECTLY. The notes, the darkness, the static, the... monster things...
By the way, that note about the boy missing his stuffed tiger... Was that Calvin?
You know, in the vein of being able to create your own costumes for Halloween and everything...
I think, after getting the highest rank, you should be able to make your own costume. After all, Jason, Slendy, Obama, and Elmo would be an amazing team...
You all probably know this, but... It's literally impossible to even come CLOSE to the 100 days on hardcore if you don't get medals first. Go play in casual, collect as many as you can, and then go for the impossible badge.
The one thing I missed from this game, though, is the progress meter on each song. Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's still there and I just can't see it, but I prefer when I can see how long I have. Regardless, outstanding game, 5/5.
Okay, for anyone having trouble... Follow the following tips:
1. You should know how to get nearly infinite gold just by glancing at the comments.
2. Start off with a Paladin and Mage.
3. Always use Magical Quake then Magical Blaze. (Holy strike and magical storm if you don't have them yet)
4. Get the best cheerleaders and best pets as early as you can. Before the first match, if at all possible, to maximize the amount of exp you earn.
5. Always check the armor store to get the best items
6. Go for paladins first, then the big armor guys, then other mages, then the warriors, then rogues. In that order.
It's an amazing game, and all, but the sheer randomness of the backup gun is either a blessing or a spit in the face, and when you're just 100 meters short of the Hard badge... You can see how that would get frustrating.
In a war between me and this game that lasted a total of 2 years, 7 months, and 30 days, I have won; I have finally obtained the hard badge. Am I going to continue? F*** NO. I'm gonna celebrate with a fireworks display. Then I'm gonna dance 'till dawn. Then, MAYBE I'll see what lurks beyond level 80.
I'll admit, the amount of hidden paths were so frustrating to find sometimes, it almost made ME want to start bashing my head on the ceiling too. Please make it easier to find that stuff, make those blocks a shade lighter, make some dots, or maybe just an x-ray spell or something.
@henningvanwyk: Not that I have much against 9gag... The memes originated from memebase, 4chan, and some from tumblr or deviantart. NONE of them came from 9gag.
@ ThePlatypi, The zombie population increases the rate of which the sellable (Manga, Video game, ice cream, etc.) stuff gets sold. And the high frequency of bad things just needs you to go there and re-do it again. Shouldn't be too hard.
