Fun game, short and easy. I don't really understand why you would put by far the hardest level on level 5, though. There is definitely untapped potential here for some really challenging levels.
While it's great to come up with a new feature (waiting to change seasons) to make your game unique, the novelty isn't really appreciated when it makes what would be a slow and boring game slower and even more boring.
There is a huge flaw in this game: Your commander has a respawn cost of 0, so if you play only ranged cards, your commander will simply die over and over, meaning your opponent will lose respawn points while you will not. Every level is very easy using this strategy.
There's a glitch on Dagger's Master: if you miss the current enemy, but the dagger you just whiffed with goes on to blindly hit an enemy in the next column, you do not lose one of your three lives.
It's like a puzzle game without the puzzle. Since there is almost no thought required to complete a level, it isn't very rewarding to finish the game. However, the game has a badge so I couldn't resist doing it anyway.
Great game, but I really dislike how information is given away due to the numbers greying out on the sides. I also found that the last level "take me with you" has a non-unique solution. I was able to create a very slightly different board that properly followed all numbers, but was not the answer.
I think zombies are probably the most boring villains ever invented, but I still have to admit the "play" animation right at the beginning of this game is f@#king awesome.
I recommend calling it par score instead of max score, because then it isn't awkward when nerds like me get 2025/1885 on level 14 by not collecting all 3 stars.
I don't really like this game much, so I'm happy the hard badge wasn't much trouble to get. However, in order to preserve the integrity of the gold medals, I think the final projectile should count as two shots, since using the time/space bending potion made the gold medals a complete joke to get.
For the sniping challenge, I assume most of you can't get 70k because you don't finish in 60 seconds. To speed up your time do two things: don't use the 2nd zoom and line up your next shot immediately after you shoot (before it zooms back out). Most of your aiming should be taking place while you don't have a bullet loaded.
Great game. Some of the puzzles were tricky. It is very rare that I don't abandon a game immediately after I get the badges, but for some reason I decided to spend the extra 20 minutes getting all the coins and cards. I like how you don't really get stuck; if something is too hard you can go get the coins or cards from previous levels and then come back.
I like the idea, but there weren't enough new aspects to make it challenging. Furthermore I had extra pieces (I think I had 4 extra on one level) on quite a few levels, which makes me think that the levels were designed poorly as they can be completed even when the designer's intended solution is not followed.
I was able to get perfects on most of the levels I was struggling with by using the combo of sentry+charge+link+link. You can abuse charge in the early waves by selling it after the original quintuple shot and then buying link instead, only to sell link for a charge on the beginning of the next wave. I hope this helps.
This game runs smoothly and has fun achievements to complete, but I consider it broken because the best strategy for the most part is to avoid leveling up. Also, it wasn't very hard to complete the game to its full extent.
I strongly disagree with everyone's gripes about hard being too hard and unfair. First, its called hard. Second, it would be impossible for the game creator to make a hard mode without giving the comp a massive lead at the start since making good AI for a card game like this is very very intensive. If you do get unlucky and die due to a dragon on the first hit, BFD, you lost ten seconds. Third, it was still very easy to beat all campaigns in one or two sittings. one thing I would like to see is a clear warning not to start on hard or medium because you really do need to unlock cards to make your odds better. This is a solid card game and I'd like to see more games like this on kong.
Are you sure about that ? Because it happened to me a lot of time and I've always lost one life. You can hear a little sound when you miss a enemy.
