The combats aren't interesting, and it seems that they are ultimately the point of this game, as far as active playtime goes. So, although it's not badly done in general, I can't recommend it.

I'm in the modern era but can't conquer anything (world map displays but nothing happens when I click on it) and can't buy anything in the market (I just get an error saying I don't have that much merchandise of that kind). What am I missing here?

Argh... another game that doesn't all fit inside its window. What is the deal?? Anybody have a suggestion? Maybe 1 in 5 or 1 in 10 Kong games are like this for me. Using latest FF on WinXP; no oddball graphical settings that I know of.

Kind of OK, but for some reason the contents of the window are not all visible for me. The right side and bottom side are both cut off. Also, it could use some work in the form of mouseover hints or numerical stat displays to tell the player a little more. I would go into more detail but meh.

Oh, and by skills I mean the tally of how many unspent skill points there are on the skills screen.

(a) The % of health at which to spawn next monster should be a slider instead of radio buttons preset to 50 and 100. (b) Why not add skills to the stats line at the bottom of the window on the right, next to items? (c) How about a little death sound? A short "knell" would do. :-D

Magic Find seems broken above some level. Once I got my monster and "item" (top left) levels into the thousands, I couldn't find any more legendary items at all. I did find a dark red (lost?) item, but no legendaries. This was using a dark red 0.92 attack speed weapon, too, so I was getting a *LOT* of items...

Looking pretty good. Please move the treasure box announcement window though. It really does cover up all the most useful info where it is. It's a terrible location. The "X" in the top right is inactive, too, but please don't just activate it. I don't want to have to click it.

vet bonuses are now unreadable, at least on my screen. otherwise, pretty cool update :)

Bigpapa: the game has been changed and there are now no veteran items. Instead, when a character retires, they get a veteran bonus to one item slot. Mousing over an item equipped in a slot with a veteran bonus shows the bonus on the item stats.

Wait, what the heck is a "Xor"? It killed me out of nowhere when I was barely being scratched by anything. That seems kind of wrong from a balance point of view.

I complained a lot before, so let me say that the mouseover info showing vet bonus is a lot easier to understand than the old mysterious way it was. Thanks for doing that. Now I have to do some math, but at least the numbers are right in front of me. ;-)
