Nice little game, couldn't expect anything more from a free game like this. Incase you want future improvement ideas, here are some:
1. Add more rarity levels to weapons and/or make it harder to get legendary items. Also a way to modify enchantments would be cool that for example if you got a perfect weapon but don't like that it has +xp boost, you could change that. There ain't much to do with money..
2. Crates takes too much time to destroy compared to combat, maybe reduce the numbers but add better rewards to them.
3. It would be also cool to be able to switch some skills. For example I like using my greatsword, but the roll and the attack skill both are quite bad imo. The attack skill does same/less damage than my normal crit (and I got 50% crit chance atm..)
This was fun little game. Love these different ending games. I'll check if you got more and if not (or after I play them all) does anyone have any other recommendations? It would have been also fun if some of the endings would have been harder to find, these all were pretty obvious. For example one could have been that if you idle in the scene where the shady guy or the lady is, he/she steals the mallet. There wasn't too many options tho as the game is now to make more endings but with slights changes there could have been many more.
Please give strongboxes after you win the game too to be able to get max level gear decently fast and also max the skills. I just wanted to try it because I read comments that you can get lv 20 weapons/armor while I only got lv 14-16 items and around lv 9-12 abilities when I finished the last level. After it I raided the last map like 5 times but leveling items is so slow without strongboxes so couldn't get max level items. (or just give option to instant unlock max level items when you finish the game or so or alternatively drop max lv items to 15 because it starts to get overkill if you can get much better gear than that and I had only half of the skills too :'D Or alternatively create few extra levels :P)
LOL the weapon with 20 and all other 0s feels like cheating if you got good reflexes to hit it accurately. I think this was now 3rd or 4th last boss that died with 2 hits and all other monsters die with one hit XD Only thing I wish is that there would be definitons for those "monster looking artifacts" or those. I got many of those but I don't know which does what as I got multiple different ones at the same time. It seems at least that one shoots random ice spell, another random fire spell and one slows the time on the random selection (to make the 20, 0, 0, 0, 0,... weapon feel even more cheat lol)
Imo bit too easy and at least I got tired to it very fast. You can just build huge maze with few turrets and put the main gun autofire to somewhere that hits most of the maze and just wait for next waves lol. Also 2x or 4x speed would be fun to get past of the easy levels fast where you don't even need to aim.
The first 5 levels are indeed a bit easy to low moderate, but the difficulty can be very subjective. I have been always keeping an eye on the scoreboard and I see players struggling early on. The curve was a bit too steep from 1 to 3 so I made a leaner experience from 1 to 5. I don't know what to say yet of a time accelerator, I would try and test it a bit because there might be some bugs since not every object is based on the delta time of the game (my bad here).
Fun game but I wish there would be more precise dps tooltips for each tower and for the prince. Also it gets pretty fast quite boring in endless mode. Maybe there could be way for automatic resource farming or something that would cost some resources but then you wouldn't have to manually match the tiles for +20 minutes or so all the time x'D Also I'd wish that you could combine gems to get more powerful gems for towers.
Fun game to kill time. Some monsters are bit OP tho for each tier like Soldai in T2, Octoplasm and O'veil in T3 and Kroudon in T5. (O'veil can be used even on the last division with Kroudon + one more tanky monster)
I'd like to see bigger variety of monsters in each tier so there would be many more good strategies to combine monsters. Also one extra hard division would be nice where you couldn't anymore use just the 3 main monsters you have leveled to max but you would need to switch monsters depending on the enemy lineup or you would be screwed.
Stone will have always shortage no matter what. When I beat darkness I first start building every possible stone mine but still after a little while I get +1k wood coming and only around 500 ish stone. The generator should add more stone tiles beacause I even tried to generate the best possible stone generating maps and it still wasn't enough. Other than that this was nice little game to kill time.^^
@augustinwai But you finish the game in 70 days or so, so even if you would get the gold machine right away it doesn't have time to give back the money. Ofc if you keep playing the infinite game mode after you have passed the game it will be beneficial in some point.
This game could be fun but it has just the worst scaling ever. After 5 levels or so you are at 5000-10000 health and you regenerate 1-2% of that while enemies hit you only for 1-10 damage while enemies have 150-300 health and you hit them around 30-100 damage. At level 7 I found a shield with over 100% block chance... Soo it blocks every attack no matter what... Also the magic is unusable and leveling item shop doesn`t seem to do anything. Your character stats aren`t explained at all so you have to figure what exactly do they do? I don`t find strength increasing my damage or agility increasing my attack speed so what do they do? Only stats that work are vitality to boost your health and intelligence to increase your max mana. The scaling on vitality is also crazy like if you put one point there you already get 1000s of health.
I can see the idea behind this but this game needs so much fixing.
I would like this game but those blue and purple? are too similar color as a colorblind so I can't play it. I wish the enemies would have the block icon besides them so then I could play with the icons and not with the colors. :/
TIPS AHEAD:
1. If you want easy run, put literally every level up point to defense and carry gears for each elemental resistances, this way you don't need to return to town at all and even the last enemies hit only 0-3 health points. Only the last boss will hit around 60 with each hit but by then you have like 50+ health potions (and you can craft even more). Mana and health regeneration is also nice to have so if in some point you don't have right gears against certain enemies, it will heal you up and with mana you can use heal spell.
2. Money gathers way too much for you to spend so buy all the potions in the shops just if you need more mana for enhancing items or if in some point you end up losing some health. You should also buy the best materials for your needs.
I thought my years of playing these online games would end as I started to play more and more AAA/AAA+ games but here we are... After a year or so since I completed EBF4 most likely the 5th+ time and yet again I'm going to step into and complete it at least once more while also waiting EBF5 excitingly!

Wait is this re-publish or something? I remember playing long time ago game exactly like this. Anyway as people have already mentioned the following things are needed: more speed, boss fights shouldn't take so much time, ability to sell/move units, health bar of friendlies visible all the time, auto collect for coins.
Also I'd like bit more challenge too. Anyway the graphics and music are nice. Keep up the good work!^^
The amount of spoils is ridiculous if you spam that head. Also I don't get it how these banners works as it seems like they aren't doing anything even when I click them on. I got attack and health banner maxed at level 5 and still can't beat level 6. I got also 9 new cards which doesn't seem to help much. Also some cards suck so it would be nice to be able to arrange deck.
Nice and fun game. I'm just not the biggest fan of that everything expires but on this concept it works or otherwise it would be too easy. Loved the upgrades etc. tho so if you continue making games you could use this as base but make it more traditional tower defense or so. Anyway good work there! :)
How fast is your internet connection? I have 75 Mbps and don't experience much lag except for the nature realm. I have been looking into fixes for this and will let you know when I find a fix. What map did you eperience the most lag? Was it the same on every map? Every little bit helps. Thanks for the input.
This game would definitely need a sequel since it's so broken. The after level 30 or so everything becomes like a joke. Only ice monsters continue scaling, hence if you get ice resistance to 100 you can't die after that point. All other monsters will hit you like 6 or 11 while you have at that point +1k health easily. The item stats start to be totally random too after that point and you can find weapon with 500 ish damage for example, mix that with being a vampire and that will grant you 1k life leech on every hit. lol
Love the idea but too many flaws, sequel would be awesome where all these bugs would be fixed and maybe some goal so it's not just endless floor after floor without monsters changing.
