I'm guessing all our entries here are logged for the creator's personal amusement. It would be nice to see at what point most people start contemplating suicide.
Ye Gods, who bablefished that tutorial? That was really terrible. It's also completely uninformative. "Here, click this red blinking button. Nevermind what it does, just click it! Excellent, now you've learnt... how to click a blinking button?"
Bah, bunch of whiners. I just scored the hard badge and I'm not a native speaker either. It's not an easy game, but if you stick with it, it's very manageable.
What this game needs most is an option to start from scratch with a single click. Having to go to the main menu, look at a stupid animation, wait for the letters to pop up, click clear data, wait for another screen, confirm, watch the same stupid main menu animation AGAIN, wait for the letters to pop up AGAIN and only then being able to try again on your boring first few tries... is driving my mental!
I just beat the game playing Satan and I did NOTHING except Cerberus Charge over and over and over again. I lost 1 match because my right hand was starting to hurt, but that's the only difficulty I encountered. Which is A Bad Thing. Rubbish game, really. 2/5
I hate this game with a violent passion! I don't care how great the storyline is or isn't (I haven't finished it yet), but the gameplay is so horrible that it has me roaring in frustration. 1/5 so far. Maybe 2/5 if the ending is as good as everyone claims it is.
If you complete the storyline mode, you should unlock the recipe for persimmon pastries. That would really top off this excellently written game. Two thumbs up!
The challenges are a great disappointment. Setups like "If the opponent has any of the following 5 cards in his hands and you don't have Elder Sign, you get one-shotted. Again." are frustrating for the wrong reasons. Challenges are supposed to be just that: a challenge. In many cases, it's just dumb luck. Pity.
