You Sir are very kind, thank you! I was recently considering redoing the game with Unity and proper graphics from freelance artists, but the birth of a child inbetween made my programing time shrink drastically, so that will probably not happen, with is unfortunate.

By the way, if you want to see what I’ve been busy with (before the birth of said child) you can check “memories of summer – petanque as a standalone minigame” on itch.io. It’s just a playable demo but it uses the very same dialog function that I designed for Reting Rimpoche’s Dating Sim – because I initially planned to make it a dating sim too before I changed my mind.

He he, now that the likelihood of my developping a sequel is low, I can disclose what it could have been… I was considering a sequel in the form of a spy movie with close ties to Tibet’s actual history, involving Nazi (with Ahnenerbe cameo…), British, Japanese and Chinese spies and probably Iori as an undercover agent… But if History is a guide there, Reting Rimpoche probably loses in the end…

I really thought about making a sequel (an espionnage game titled “Reting Rimpoche strikes back” for example), but it probably won’t happen in this form. Anyway, it would have been difficult to make a happy end, check history books about that… :)

Thanks, I’ll do that. Read the book I mean, at least for a start :) If you’re interested in Reting Rimpoche, his storyline is not sa far from the historical truth, you can grab a couple infos that way. And I could definitely make a “Reting Rimpoche strikes back” game, with the historical outcome as the bad ending!

I’m more or less always looking forward to creating new games – especially now that I’ve got much “behind the scene” code working smoothly, it shouldn’t be too hard to create a new adventure game. Now what I need is an idea for a storyline! As you would have guessed, Tibetan history is my personnal hobby, but I don’t think that people can stand more of that topic, so now I need something new…
