Block feels really really useless. First, the values usually don't scale up very well, so enemies just start wrecking you through your blocks around World 3+, and second there's almost always a cooldown, so you can't even block every turn like the enemies do. Cards like cyclotron, bag of tricks, frost cannon, and haltblade are way way better for defense since they actually stop the enemy from attacking and can be used every turn. The Block cards just aren't worth buying.
Block is still worth getting, it's just more in line with other items in the game now. The goal is we don't want it to always the best thing to get. The game can still be won, but now it's trickier - you can't rely on block every run. If you want to argue with us about it, we're 100% willing to hear you out - chat on discord here: https://discord.com/invite/nBfhQ3v - BUT - expect some very experienced players who have played for months to have counterarguments!
Please move the confirm button for bag of tricks OFF the bag of tricks card. I accidentally double clicked the card, and it ate my 1 energy and immediately confirmed before I could select any cards to cycle, so it did literally nothing except eat my energy and disable itself
The bomber is obviously Rosa, she holds the key for unlocking the path to the bomb and refuses to hand it over unless you pay her a large ransom. She's holding the town hostage for money!
I really like how generous this game is with checkpoints. Lots of platformers are really only "hard" because their checkpoints are so far apart that every time you fail you have to repeat the last ~10 minutes of movement instead of a more reasonable ~10 seconds.
That was a pretty easy hard badge. Once I stopped caring about dodging and ran up to slash enemies while circling around them mindlessly, things progressed really quickly. Just need to choose the defense song, hp potion, and get hp/dmg upgrades. Barely used the blacksmith at all.
This game feels kind of bait-and-switchy. The first 88 levels are all about freely drawing whatever you want, making them pretty easy to solve, if a bit time-consuming. Then the last 12 levels throws out the entire drawing mechanic and gives you a rope instead.
Weapon shops look meaningless. They sell 8 steel bars for 200 money, 8 steel bars cost 64 iron bars + coal. 64 iron bars are sold for 400 money by bicycle shops.
A lot worse than dribbles, since there's no way to pre-place signs to tell your blobs to transform when they reach it. Instead, you have to have perfect timing and click at the exact moment the blob reaches the point you want to place the whatever. It's especially bad when you use the >> signs, because the blobs move so fast that you basically have to spam click and pray you hit the blob at the right spot. I spend more time trying to click fast moving blobs than I do on actually solving the puzzle, which is just frustrating.
Woo got the real end at level -5! (At least, I think it's the real end.. maybe it's another fake?) I see some comments about a level ? but I never saw it...
I just had a crazy thought. What if the reason why everyone on the police force is crazy, is because the psychologist is crazy and has been messing with their minds?
It got a lot easier once I realized that I could teleport by moving the mouse offscreen and bringing it back on the other side of the map. That let's you pick off enemies from the edges of the map with ease.
After a bit of playing against the AI, I realized that it is ridiculously weak against bluffs. Once you have a lead, just keep raising the full amount of their chips and they will usually fold.
