How do you do level 15? You are forced to put the first person in the chest on the right, but you can't do the skull jump with the other person, so I'm lost?
There is no puzzle here. There is nothing that challenges, no ah-a moments, no struggles. This game feels like an extended tutorial where nothing interesting happens.
Literally making the single move you are legally allowed to perform is not a puzzle. This was a very unsatisfying experience that did not require thought at all.
While the overall production value has gone up via the voice acting, I don't feel like putting resources into a character driven plot in a game about moving shapes was a great call... Especially since the puzzles in this sequel felt more direct and less creative and fun than in the original. Enjoyed it, but think the first in the series is the superior game.
It was short, but even in its shortness it was already getting repetitive. The save points were so close together that there was no punishment to failure. The boss fight was entirely too easy.
That all being said; stylistically it's great. The music is fun, the art is solid. That stuff is the hard part, honestly. Put together some real levels and some more varied baddies to deal with and this'll be a great game.
Super well done, and conceptually something fresh and new! I suspect you're being rated down for difficulty? This should easily be getting a higher rating. Don't let the haters cause you problems.
I have idled this game, training 9 hobbies at once, for the last 4 days. I've gotten 3 hobby level ups. My highest (Brooding 22) is 120 hours total for this level up... That's 5 days. Even if they didn't get longer, that would mean to get Angst to 30 for the Legal job will take over a month. Of doing nothing at all.
At this point this game is so hilariously broken I've changed my rating to a 1. No consideration was given to the design of this game, just arbitrary numbers and multipliers assigned.
The tutorial still hadn't ended by the point I quit, at level 7. There is no challenge to any of the levels. It's a very cool concept, but I don't think enough was done with the idea of defending against a catapult puzzler.
I love the message, and I hope you continue developing, but I had to rate lowly due to the puzzles actually being rather weak, and there not being much to the game. There's no innovation here apart from putting a message on top of a very played out puzzle mechanic.
Applause for putting it all together, though!
Sorry Refa. We'll have more attentions to make another games.
