Hi there,
I have just set the jumping to use only the Space bar, and have added more lighting. Is the amount of lighting added sufficient, or do i need to add some more.
Thanks for the time taken to play and comment on the game.
P.S. Just trying to find a good balance as i do not want the levels to be too bright, at the same time i do not want them to be impossible to use. I am also hoping to have a brightness slider soon which should resolve this issue.
Not a bad concept, but please do your pop culture homework. You have a picture of Sylvester on the splash screen, your character in game is Top Cat, yet you reference Tom in the title?
Not a bad idea, but I found controls to be very unresponsive in Firefox 17.0. When I press a key, I expect prompt service, not 'when the game feels like it'.
Thanks for the feedback. I am looking into the issue. I am not sure why this is the case as it ran well through numerous play tests and from some quick tests I've been running it seems to be responsive on older versions of Firefox.
Tying lives to shot powerups is a clever trick - the first time I played I died in one shot, the second time I think I managed to get a seven shot spread for about 1 second before getting hit. However, it would be nice to be able to just hold down the fire button rather than have to hammer it to the point of RSI.
Now this is a clever mashup of bubble shooters and Sames-style games! The bubbles move in delightfully organic ways and the music is refreshingly low key. Likey!
Bad rip of Aardman's original "Home Sheep Home". Apart from recoloring some of the assets, creating a semi-hubbed set of levels, and adding an incredibly annoying adbox whenever you pause or the game loses focus, it's a blatant, badly worded ripoff of the first water. Flagged.
I've played this game twice now, and both times the final puzzle (where you place the gems) has broken. I simply cannot place the topaz pieces after placing the plates and jadeite pieces. I think there's a coding problem somewhere.
Very poor remake of Bezerk. Graphics are too fussy. Music is inappropriate. Menu is too busy and has too many options - "Introduction" and "Instructions" could be merged. And only one link to your site as opposed to three. And as has been noted already, the scripting is broken if you die and return to the main menu.
