My inner OCD wishes I could change the positions of my weapons on the towers, so that I could have the archers on the outside, and the big old catapult in the middle. XD Great game, as always with this series. 5/5
Time attack with AI that have no clue what they're doing most the time? Seriously? Worst. Idea. Ever. Great, fun game. Just the same thing everyone else mentions.
Also, some of the items have either messed up foot traffic or messed up pictures for rotation. Why would the people walk around behind the armor? The potions? etc.
One, great game. Touch short, decently difficult, usually had to play the later levels twice to get all stars, I like that. Two, ONE extra spell slot and I'd be completely content. This allows all your basic spells, since they're wonderful on such a low CD, and 3 big spells. Personally, Death Reach with it's wonderful slow, Blightfrost and Sea of Fire, for the freeze-fire crit increase. Other than that and that it's so short, no complaints. On the spell slot, I can understand why you do it this way, makes you actually pick and choose, but I don't like picking and choosing, specially when I'm just one spell short. =P
Easily one of the most torturous, terrible platformers I've ever had the pleasure of playing. That last band-aid level is an utter nightmare. But I will persevere! Even if I go through a couple laptops, couple hundred dollars, never see hair on my head again and teach my little brother all the different combinations of cuss words you can put together.
I like the idea of dragging the towers down, it's a little inconvenient, but once you get used to it, it's super easy. Though once you realize machine guns are useless and should be replaced ASAP with the Heavy Cannons, if not just buy them off the start, it becomes an easy game. Great game, one way or another. Now for the challenge levels!
Dedl0ck, you don't even know. You're lucky they re-balanced the levels and such or else it would be. I like to think I'm pretty good at TD's, before the re-balanced them, they felt impossible to come even close. Also Mey, right click and change the settings to Low and don't speed up the level once the boss shows up, much easier.
Lvl 20 is utter crap. Either too few tower placements, or too much water for bloody scooba divers to path through, it's really, really annoying. I also despise if they even lay a single finger on them, die AS they touch it, you lose brilliant. Can't it just be if they leave the cave, it's gg?
So far, only complaint with the game is flying enemies. I've already ran into multiple occasions in the "Hunt" missions where they'll go under into the buildings and I can no longer hit them until I pass them. Need to fix that occasion.
I've gotta say, that I agree with Meghanb about Amazons. They make all of that area pretty much impossible to get three stars on, ESPECIALLY the last level. You don't get enough mana EVER to be rid of the monuments in a timely fashion, combine that with the Amazons and you're utterly screwed.
Maybe it's cause I'm an old system or whatever, but the game lags SUPER hard once you get into the later waves with so many animations going off and such, needs a quality adjustment option, please and thank you.
Alright, I was going to say this about the Dragon King but I beat him pretty bad. So I'm going to say it about these guys instead, screw the Council of Liches, screw them all.
You might want to look into a problem with clicking a little too fast when you're going to move onto the next floor of the tower. If you click too fast, the game will break. It'll either freeze or just go to a black screen. Pretty sure it's because of the animation of the next floor unlocking that causes it.
Oh, and you need power ups that drop last longer, since they disappear in no time and need some sort of indicator on the map that they dropped. Personally, I try to stay as far away from my enemies and let them follow me, works best so you don't get utterly murdered in the later levels, and I almost never see a power up drop, and even when I do, the waves are so hectic, if I even consider getting the power-up, I die.
I've gotta say, suddenly introducing enemies that have homing AND can murder you in about a second flat, is not entertaining, not fun and just plain annoying.
