Very fun game! Lost an hour to it. Only complaint is that the last fight is just an upgrade war and doesn't really let the player use the games' more interesting combat system. I like being able to take out sails and board ships, but those weren't options against the Dutchman unfortunately.
Not sure about other levels yet, but the timing on the level where the world is collapsing feels really off unless you intended for the game to have a massive difficulty hike. The last two crystals are quite easy to get, but the first three require perfect timing. Bit of a shock to the system considering nothing else in the game really required that kind of precision up until that level.
Pretty fun game - managed to beat it. I felt like a handful of the levels (16 & 20 in particular) were designed around tight platforming controls, which the game lacks. Not impossibly difficult, but difficulty simply due to poor control is bad.

The actual game is pretty well made and reasonably entertaining for an hour or two. The final boss only involves the rest of the game partially and involves a slightly tedious grinding process just to reach him. Beyond that, the attempt at a "joke" by making the boss a rage face was fairly disappointing. The art in the game is genuinely good. Don't make a mockery of it like that.

I just want to respond to everyone complaining about the in-game $$$ upgrades: Berzerk Studios has been doing this for a LONG time. It is not a new thing they just started doing because everyone else was.
I'm a big fan of this game, but I'm not really sure why the game enjoys faulting me for making a great pass to an incompetent teammate. It isn't really my character's fault that all his teammates seem to have horrendous Pace compared to the opponent's team.
Try not to make a habit out of this, Greg. This is a site based around community ratings - the head administrator assuming things will inevitably damage that aspect.
Decent game, but I dislike games with abnormal difficulty hikes. Level 13 seems quite a bit more challenging than any other level before it and sucked all of my interest out of the game.
Is there some trick to this game that isn't obvious? There is no way I can even fathom winning in under 30 days. Trying to save up to a propeller and currently on day 25 and still not there.
Only wish there was a way to instantly end a round and go to the cash/XP earned screen. There are often periods were my guy will be moving relatively slowly and keep bumping into objects, thus pointlessly delaying the game, sometimes significantly so.
When you use the "click to continue" feature on the "Stats Earned" after training/a battle, you gain none of the stats if you click it before it finishes. Can be worked around, but extremely annoying.
I love your games jmtb02, but this is disappointing. This is like Four Second Frenzy (not a bad thing) but generally just poorly designed. You never get a second to breathe, the games start back where they were when you last played them, and the multiplier adds up rather slowly. I don't mind challenge - but this is challenge in all the wrong ways.
