The only exception might be is if you have plenty of food but need the lab to start working on the antivenom; or if you have no hospital and people are getting sick (you can only go so long before they start dying). Or maybe if it’s just “scavenge for scraps,” you could reclaim the building or farm if you are losing food or have no room for more people, but never ignore “Lotsa Food,” unless you’ve got a lot and are gaining more than using.
