I let the player keep the AP. I also let the player visit the ascention portal immediately after they ascend. If you haven't refreshed the game in a few days, you are still on the old version where these two things werent yet in the game.
A small logic fault: Level 26.
You can stun the first ghost with the bell, but if you wake up the others and pull them there, they aren't stunned.
This means that either the ghosts can only be stunned asleep or their appetite for human flesh is greater than their tolerance for loud screams
