SicMirx, its not just that I throw 1/5 automatically at games I do not like, I have reasoning behind it: First of, the name sucks, as said, a name is half the poem. The game just repeats it self over and over again, and as such, having more than 3 levels is a BAD thing. 12 levels is even worse. The game has some serious bugs, like I can not see the 5% of the in game screen. (Thus my display is alright, still plenty of space to display the whole screen, but for some reason, it does not.) The music and sounds are made... poorly, I want to get rid of the sound, but I still have the sound in the menu/main map.
Okey, I found the "options" the game is royally screwed if you ask me, all I could see of the "options" is the few lowest pixels of "p" Could only find the "options" because of the tutorial. Also, There seems to be no options in the title screen, which sucks. I'm also taking the name as negative thing, name is important, its half the poem, and as such, it should be considered carefully. Anyways, sticking with 1/5
Procook, what I meant is, the starting balance. Like, a single French resistance guy fares whole lot better than a single Gunner? Even though the gunner has... well, Big Bad Gun as the name suggests. (Btw, I just love the way the sound that soldiers trapped in wires sounds like airplanes. Being trapped in wires should make no sound at all, really, not one that can be heard to 10 feet away over the guys screaming anyways.)
Erm, what on earth is the deal with Gunners? They have less moral or skill than my French resistance for crying out loud. Its like, the resistance is better organized than the actual army? Points used: Resistance soldiers: 1x2 Gunner:1 Positions of the gunner and resistance soldiers are equal, fov is equal I mean, no obstacles or anything. Kills Resistance: 5 Gunner: 0 (And the gunner hardly ever hits the opponents) and c'moon, you cant keep missing a target that is standing 2 meters from you. No matter how much you suck at shooting, if you can tell which is the end from where the bullet comes from, you should be able to press that frikking pipe in the opponents chest and pull the trigger.
Ehh, too bugged and repeative on the top of that. Every level I play ends in gray area (the picture scroll aint long enough) I really dont need to "Hammer" the opponents, I just leave my hammer in front of em and they die. How boring is that? Very. And I heard there is supposed to be some reward after level 5? I saw no, just keeps on going. Repeats it self, boring, no objective. 1/5
Am I mistaken, or are the levels becoming easier in the end? I mean, I just made the level that writes "m" like in 10 seconds. (yeah, my computer lagged, so I had to wait a little)
askovitch, multiple moves per one is just too mistake prone, current system is better. Icfilipe, read the whole instructions. There is nothing wrong in there really. Each dice "can make" the amount of moves written, as said in the instructions. Writing "must make" would actually be worse, as this has the kinda commanding tone and therefore would not be so polite. Here: "You must do the dishes." "Can you do the dishes?" The basic assumption is that questions are polite. Asking "must you do the dishes?" Is rather odd, eh? Anyways, the game, rather ok game, but gets boring really fast. Not so hard or challenging. Interesting in its own way, but well...
How to unlock the hidden levels? Getting lots of points in the 3 games that actually are something? Or doing some hidden stuff?
Anyways, as the developer says, this was pretty... :Crapppy:
And for the stupid people who do not know, "die" is the same as "dice". I even bothered to check it from a Oxfords dictionary, here is what it says: "(especially NAmE) = DICE"
For 3 games in a row (thats, 3 long long games in a row) every time I take a lead, recles instantly scores 1000-4000 points. And I mean, EVERY TIME. Thats like, 20 times in a row, for crying out loud. And all I am getting is auto zilch.
