On harder and nightmare this game gets pretty annoying. I reclaimed both the city hall and the cursed graveyard but didn't have enough happiness to win. There are not many tiles left and reaching 50% happiness is next to impossible
Up till now I have not experienced any of the above issues mentioned. Maybe the problem is the fact that you don't score well enough thus get equally rewarded.
TIP: Concentrate on the flak canon, especially in the thunderstorm campaign. Upgrade firstly it's damage, then accuracy and reload, finally firing speed and then everything else. It may not be as effective as the air strikes, but it doesn't cost anything. The cost of the strikes rises the more u use them. Upgrading them means they cost less, but they charge up faster and u use them more often. As a result u spend the same money. Therefore try to kill most enemies with your canon and use winged bombs when they come near your canon. The other airstrikes are recommended to be used rarely.
My first thought when I saw the giant yeti was: WTF? Where is its head?
My second one was: Really bad graphics for an end boss. You let me down in the end..
