This game is more and more disturbing the longer I think about it. You can't have a career and a fulfilling relationship? Even the best career can't compare to a halfway decent man? Chances for happiness end at fifty? Girls "steal" your man? Your best bet to "win" is to pick a guy - ANY guy - early and ditch him at the first sign of something better? Drown your sorrows with chocolate and earn dresses (including a goddamned APRON) as a reward?
God, this is like someone tried to map the subconscious geography of sexist male douchebag perceptions of what it's like to be a woman and turned it into a boring game with mediocre controls.
Clever. However, I do have to voice a complaint that the WASD keys - usually the left hand - control the thing on the RIGHT side of the screen. Hard enough to coordinate without having left/right issues buggering the whole thing up. That seems a bit needless; neurobiology is working against playing the game well.
More like the CRAPPY maze, amirite? (No, seriously, this game isn't very good. Also, calling it "creepy" sort of ruins the whole point of the surprise-scare. You're not supposed to warn us that's coming.)
I just wish that when you get to Mars, you could KEEP the money you earned and just let Free Play move on from that point instead of forcing you to redo everything you just did.
If you're going to make a word game that easy, then either prevent people from reusing words or have a lower time limit or don't give so much bonus time. I was going for six or seven minutes and hadn't actually lost any time yet. And it was already cycling into repeat puzzles to which it accepted the same words as before, which meant that the only limit on how high my score could get was how long my patience held out.
Cute concept. Needs a faster death animation, since dying is the primary means of exploring the world. Also needs to be less slow. There were likewise some clipping issues, with my sprite passing partially through ledges. Some personality for the poor little circle wouldn't hurt, either.
WHY does holding down the arrow key not cause my paddle to move smoothly in the desired direction, like in every other Breakout variant? Constant tapping is a horrendous way to build a game.
My mouse/aimer kept getting stuck and lagging behind my movements. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but it was annoying as all get out, especially with no prior warning.
