Was not expecting a sequel, this is a legitimately great game! So much care and effort went into making RF a true strategy game, and it clearly shows. Much more usage of tactics, abilities and items compared to the last one. I've played RFII so much that it's a detriment to my skill in this - I keep underestimating goblin bombers and ice bombs. Would really appreciate some sort of Hall of Fame (Shame?) for dead characters. Keep up the good work!

It counts as dying for the purpose of the zombie upgrade that spawns a zombie every time you kill an enemy. So every time your zombie takes a life away from the cat, you spawn a zombie. Quite fun actually!
My three major problems with this game:
1) There should be some reward for losing. If I kill all but the last enemy my men should get experience for that, even if I lose. Passively sitting there watching the game for about a minute and gaining nothing is dissatisfying.
2) Gold gained is too little. Increase the amount to avoid grinding and repetition.
3) Speed up button, por favor.
Some good potential here, fix the grinding issues and difficulty spikes and you've got a great game.
I think the manual collecting is fine, it makes mouse movement more hectic in a fast-paced TD where you don't get breaks between waves. I also like how short the tutorial is; we're all familiar with this type of TD now and you cut right to the chase, I like that. Tower/factory selection is a bit wonky at times, hard to select the right one when you have two structures adjacent to each other. All in all a good TD, 3/5 for the shortage of levels.
Encountered a bug where the treasure chest doesn't open even when solved, forcing me to leave the dungeon. A couple of very annoying bugs here, but other than that, great game. 4/5
Gotta say I'm disappointed. It's the exact same gameplay all over again. It IS a level pack, but it's going to be a long time before a sequel gets out and I honestly expected you to fix the errors of the first one. Ninjas are the only real challenge in the game. A level consists of holding the fast forward button until a ninja wave/boss, then drop a fire; other enemies don't even make it past the first towers. You've also upped the amount of ninja bosses instead of buffing other enemies. Mana towers have become even more useless, considering the amount of mana pools in a level. Same goes for radiance towers; they are not needed except in very few cases. Then there's the issue of grinding, which ALL of the top comments are addressing; why have you not done something about this? With such an outcry over the insane amount of time needed to grind for skills, you should've at least added skill points to achievements. It's been like this for over a year, and it would take an hour to fix.
Thanks :D Happy ears for happy gamers!
