That is NOT what I typed... Something glitched out when I submitted my last comment, it was SUPPOSE to say "I beat the gauntlet rather quickly in one sitting. I'm proud of myself not because I passed it but i got exactly 255 deaths... Nerd-tastic number~ It started to feel like using the lower half after awhile was cheating since if you just let your subconscious do the work of memorizing the map you don't really need it. I highly recommend patience or you'll probably never get the badge.

At first I felt the story was weak and it reminded me very strongly of [Castlevania: Symphony of the Night] in regards to how the museum was being described. The art is MARVELOUS, and wasn't so detailed you couldn't find anything... However, it was too easy because most of the items you had to find were either repetitive of another one or two you already found (like on Old Tom, the chain on the fire right, I had two horizontal chains visible, both only showed up in one image. Way too easy like that.). The game, overall, has made me interested in the book. Please continue to make these games, but please keep my review in mind. Also, I agree with Owl_Plumbing... Clearly a cliff hanger moment, but not enough to make me go "ooh, what happens next." I want to read the book simply because of how creative the game was; not because of how you ended the game... Anti-climactic...
I fail to see how this was "scary" and I was very thoroughly disappointed. All of the puzzles I could solve (9/10) were too easy, and the rest made virtually no sense at all even after watching the walkthrough. It's easy enough to make a puzzle, but you have to be sure everything is there. Additionally, some of the art made it hard at times to figure out what do do next, and some of each was even rather picky. I clicked that string 5 times before I watched the walkthrough, went back, and tried a sixth time and finally got it. I don't know if I wasn't hitting it spot on or what but it wasn't the only time where I felt let down. It's always nice to have good art, but if there are too many details, or not enough, it can make a game like this one a pain in some areas... If you intend to make a sequel, which it looks like you are, please take the negative feedbacks positively. Some of us just want a good experience and are willing to help if you're willing to listen. :)
Great game, but I'm having issues since a lot of words I know such as nuances and even some longer ones (can't recall any off of the bat) aren't there. When I'm in a hurry I tend to start with more complex and longer words in an attempt to do more damage... This seems to be backfiring... heavily... double the dictionary in there and I'll give you another star.
Cute, creative, and easy to learn. I actually skipped the instructions and still managed to beat the first level. Usually with games like this one I can't. Smooth interface and playability for easy listening and enjoyment. Keep it up!
there isn't that much new, and it's easy to avoid building a "car" to begin with if you've played any similar games and watched other users solve the puzzles. This is so unoriginal at this point and so badly regurgitated I seriously couldn't play for very long at all. The music, as nice as it is, cannot make up for how terrible this advertisement really is. Sorry, but this really is just insulting.
1/5 until further notice - I've tried playing this game a few times now both here and on Newgrounds only to find that I never recieve autohealing in town. Furthermore, the lack of a mute button is also a bit curious... Get these things fixed and I'll re-review the game, but not a minute sooner.
After all the bugs I just saw, I'd have normally given this game a one, but I'm giving it a two because it has potential. Fix all of the bugs, and I mean ALL of them, and we'll see about another 2 stars.
Now I see why Ryu was renowned for that move. He spams it as if it were confetti at a party. I swear I just faught him and evrey 2 seconds "HADOOOOKEN!"
Things like that always highlight bad, unproductive AI for me. Fix that and you'll get a higher score (doesn't really care if that's how the console version was, too.)
