@Shadow_Fire13, @Brightnooblar There is a mute button. Near the top right, where the map, market, etc buttons are, there should be a "More" or "More settings", there's a toggle sound button in that.
@ DGHutter They're all rated down because we have NOTHING else to do sometimes, while idling. For example, say the chat is going slow, not many people on, and you don't have much to do, so you read the comments. :3

Since it's an idle game, what would you do? I predict it'd be an empty chat filled with AFK people. I don't really see it being used much.
It's an idle game. You're supposed to play it while you're doing something else or while you're afk. Hence the meaning of IDLE. It even says in the description that "THIS IS AN IDLE GAME, PLEASE RATE IT ACCORDINGLY." lrn2read.
