"New content is added every level." Really? What is it? How much do I need to save? I DON'T KNOW BECAUSE IT'S HIDDEN! The single most frustrating thing is being unable to make informed decisions. Games like this rely on choosing where to spend your money... but when the dev hides things from the player, how can the player make a meaningful choice? I pushed my pump to ridiculous levels because I didn't know the raincloud was an option. Now I'm sitting on 10m cash I'd REALLY like to spend, but I can't, because I have no idea what the 5th floor unlock is... or how much I need to unlock it.
Attacks won't happen when you close the game. But if the game is running and if AI belief you're an easy target, you will be attacked. If you don't like being attacked, you can play in relax or peaceful difficulty
Thank you very much for reporting. We'll look into that and might release a christmas update if we can find and fix it until then. (It's a bit difficult to get enough stuff done during the holidays with all those family gatherings^^)
Zombie hitboxes are ridiculously small. Aspect ratio is off... magnet works better east\west than north\south, aiming is skewed on diagonals, etc. Magnet is for exp (what you learning by doing) not money (what's in people's pockets). Magnet does NOT work on health boxes. The more zombies on screen the more aim is off. Flamethrower is a terrible weapon. Zombies (with AK47s, because why not?) can shoot you from off the screen. Zombies are immune to damage while spawning, but still block your path and have RIDICULOUSLY large hit range. Roll is WORSE than useless, it rolls in the direction you're facing, not the direction you're going, it gets caught on all obstacles, including zombies, and you get no immunity frames while rolling. The edge of the map has jagged terrain, meaning it's easy to get caught on it. Zombies spawn behind trees and telephone poles.
This game aims for 'challenging' without being either technically good, or fun.
ME calculation isn't working correctly. I went from 93 to 112 and am still at +3. I should have been at +5 at 100, not +3... but 93 to 112 is 2050 levels... that alone should be +2.
Cost to advance day just shot up to 150ab... which means 3 hours of active play, clicking every field as soon as it comes up, or logging out for 4 days. Nothing I can currently buy will mitigate that, and I'm not even getting anything for pushing the day, since I didn't buy a building upgrade... since I was chasing a pixie and memory use lag caused me to click on the potion seller and buy two potions that ate up my remaining time blocks.
Had 106 gold. Leveled up. Had 356 gold. Went to warzone... had 256 gold. Went back to bootcamp... now have 231 gold. Haven't spent a single gold on anything... it just keeps randomly disappearing.
Where did you gain that gold from - War Zone drops or from Boot Camp goals in Boot Camp - I assume from Boot Camp renown goal as one of the rewards is 125 gold exactly.
Did you seem to lose any progress/units in Boot Camp by any chance?
Bought the dark shop... ascended... bought the dark shop... no dark matter to spend. Then restarted... Now dark shop is locked... and there's no button for it. So not only am I missing 2 dark matter for my first ascension... I can't even unlock the shop I already unlocked.
This game is fun... until the price scaling starts.
All these little gates between you and content that make the game dull. Buy a new tower? It doesn't do anything until you spend more money. Buy an upgrade, it's tiny and insignificant.
Unless you're buying 4-5 upgrades at a time, everything is hardly noticeable... even talents. 1% of 21 damage is (thankfully) rounded up... to 1. 1% more? Still 1. That talent... did nothing.
The whole game feels like that, and then it slows you down with timers. Dev wants it to be 'hard'. Well... it is.
It's hard to see why I should keep playing.
So many bugs. Crashes, level 25 dungeon doesn't unlock second relic, second mighty severer is bugged, menus don't always close forcing you to reboot, duplicate notifications for achievements that never go away... but at least they added a new currency to try and force you to pay real money!
How much are my taxes? What am I supposed to do when I get taxed three times in a row with no income? Why are two of the exact same weapons rated "Wow, nice!" and "That seems too complicated for me."?
Workers get 'stuck' after completing some projects, never to be useful again. They still eat resources, but can't be assigned to jobs. Still can't figure out how to 'stock hut'. There's no dependency on tasks... I can write a holy book, but can't read it because I don't have literacy... even though I researched writing.
Things you should know about this game:
Not a tycoon game. Or a time management game. It is, at best, an idle game.
Buying more tables increases the menu items customers want. Don't buy tables until you've added recipes and teams.
You can open/close your shop by clicking on the sign. For... reasons.
You can max blue team, sweetbread, and push two chefs before adding your second table. Adding the second table not only requires adding spongecake, but also roasted nut, which means adding purple team to farm a second area.
Please send me your exported save, I'll check the battle report
