Fighting the final boss on Epic difficulty, was down to Matt with 882 health and no items... Figured I was screwed anyway, so I threw in one last Seiken. Apparently that was just enough to win. EPIIIIC!
By the way, what A_Rock said works faster if you hold a trick while doing it. Just do a superman or handstand, and right click the game screen. It should hold the trick until you click the screen again and press and release the key you had to hold.
Got stuck somewhere, but don't want the answers just handed to you? This here was the order I looked at the facts and was able to add them somewhere to the table. In each case, there should be only one possible spot. 8,9,14,4+5,1,7,water(tricky. check 3 and 12 to find where water isn't),11,15,12,3,13,2,6,10,fish.
I would definitely recommend starting with a sheriff. They seem to be a lot easier to use without a lot of skill/medals. They can't crit well, but they do incredible damage, even at long ranges once you level them up.
Strength gives melee damage(1 point per 10 strength) and carrying capacity(2kg per) only. Physical Shape gives 10 health per point. As far as I can tell, intelligence gives no bonus to trading at all, unfortunately, only the field skills.
It becomes a little easy once you unlock the booster... just put 2 piercing towers and 3 boosters in a stack and you can pretty much kill most enemies before they even get to the stack. It helps to place an impediment at the start, to cause the enemies to raise up a little bit higher off the ground so both towers will hit them.
One thing I found annoying was that there's no link to the third game, and the first two games both have links to the game on the CMG site, where your saves won't be compatible...
A useful trick: While in-game, use the save option, then select "new quest" and confirm it. You'll keep all of your items and stat bonuses, but you'll start back on level 1 regardless of how far you've gotten in the dungeon. I find it's very useful when looking for stat gems. Just remember to use escape wings to save though, as starting a new quest after "saving" doesn't keep your progress.
