Solar Garden, puzzle 1 for you!

To the right of the door, there are two ring. Click on the larger one, and it’ll zoom in; click on the middle, and you’ll see a pattern. You can click on different segments of the pattern to swap them between black and white.

Back out of there (just click anywhere else on screen; sometimes this works, sometimes you need to click an arrow at the bottom-center), and look to the left. There’s an alcove set into the wall, just above the stairs, and it has a black circle drawn on it. Click that circle, and you’ll get a diagram that matches the run puzzle next to the door!

Set the ring puzzle to match the diagram and, presto; next door.

A few general hints:

• On new screens, move the mouse around and see where the cursor changes to find things of interest. There’s nothing too hidden in this one, but the weird nature of the rooms means it’s sometimes hard to tell what’s important.
• Pay attention to the map (click the compass at the bottom of the screen). As well as click in open doors to move forwards, you can click around the bottom and side edges to go sideways, depending on the room.
• You have 3 inventory slots, but you’ll probably only ever use one at a time. There’s no tricky inventory-based puzzles; you only get a few items, and it’s always really clear where to use them.
