I swear when I entered the forest and saw the well in the middle of it, I was going to slam my laptop shut and toss it out the window if it started to slowly open and something crawled out.
I say an overall decent game. As the top comments tell, the AI on the companions could use a little tweaking so they don't run willy nilly all over the map trying to kill one specific target while ignoring everything in between. It's a pretty generic hack and slash and what you experience will ultimately be the same on all levels. The challenges, while a little more fun and different than usual, are a bit too hard to justify the reward. I mean seriously, why do the challenge which only gives me about 10k max when I could play the campaign and make about 20k easy? In the end I say this is a game that can help you waste time but probably won't stick with enough people to actually have most of them finish it.
Beautiful. Just...beautiful. I agree with the people before that the main appeal of this game is the storyline instead of the actual game play but that doesn't mean anything because this is still a wonderful piece of game right here. I especially liked how I chose my ends in a corresponding way so that I got the ending that explained everything last. That was just such a great outcome that I love about games that involve choices like these.
If we can't upgrade the penguins to be smart enough to walk around walls, could we at least have either a speed up button or an end level one? It's kinda off putting to watch your squad slowly die due to stupidity...
How many suckers has Papa coined into working for him? Where does all the money that comes from his six or more restaurants go? How the heck does no one expect to suddenly be joining Papa's work crew when he becomes a part of their lives?
