Though the art is lovely... It's really hard to see the beginning or end of anything in this... which makes it difficult to actually find what you need to, or where to put half of the things... Then on top of that there's one moment where you need to actually DRAG something... to reveal something else... which I only accidentally figured out. So overall I feel like this game could do with much improvement, or at least a set of guidelines as to how the gameplay works other than 'point click explore.'
This feels too short and easy for me. Especially what needs to be deactivated in order to move on, at least in comparison to the first game. I wanted more to do with magic as well.
Where is the MUTE button on this game..? Also, the starting screen/simulator right after the chatroom discussion is confusing... I thought I was just reading instructions, but the game had already started? The difference between the game and the instructions should be much clearer than that.
I wish there was a way to play with the volume of the ambience/other noises separately, because the combination makes it hard to hear what the voices are saying. I'm trying to be polite and listen to what these creatures have to say, but I can't!
I find it funny how... leading up to the lab it asks me if I want to head to the lab... then when I'm in the lab my character is all... 'What is this place? Some kind of lab?'
*Tries to use knife on Fox.* 'The Fox eats items like this for breakfast. So just keep them away from it.' FOXES EAT KNIVES?!1?1?!?!1?1 Foxes are badass man.
It's not a matter of is it 'easy' or not. It was plenty easy for me. Easily recognizable places, didn't even need signs for most of them. Perhaps that came from watching Carmen San Diego growing up? The way you have the character kidnapped, then escaped only to be 'picked up' is what bothers me. Who is picking me up? Why are they flying me to random other places only to pick me up again because I'm still being pursued? What have I done to deserve so much attention from said kidnappers? A little more storyline along the way would have made it more enjoyable is what I mean to say.
I love the music, the puzzles, the animation, all of it... I don't however think that every chapter should be released separately... as they really are short. As far as the bugginess goes, I'd have to agree that it kind of is weird how it works in the beginning? Half the time it was leading the scenes on it's own, then half the time it wanted me to click on certain things before proceeding? So it was confusing at the very least...
What do you think would it be easier if you would have to look for a Police station?
