Fascinating game, interesting elements. I love how the game doesn't stab you in the face with demands for money - I think the requirement of a one-time purchase of in-game currency for the silver packs is completely reasonable.
My only complaint is that it appears to have been out since April and the first campaign isn't even close to finished. I realize these things take time but I don't think this game is close enough to finished to earn my money yet.
I'll be back in a few months to see how things have progressed, though. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.
At first, I was actually a bit annoyed at this game - it seemed to be just a pretty Galcon clone. But since I like Galcon a lot, and this is much prettier, I decided to play some anyway.
Boy am I glad I did. This game has a pile of interested gameplay additions that make Galcon look kind of boring in retrospect. And I really enjoy how you told the story without a single word spoken or written. The last fight was really satisfying to finally beat.
5/5
Was thinking that the game was too easy.
Then a dragon flew in overtop a horde of exploding slimes.
Argh at picking up coins, though. Why does any game developer think picking up the coins is fun??
Man if the only thing that gives this guy hope is the yellow voices in his head and the occasional hallucinations of his dead friends, no wonder he kills himself.
For God so loved the world, that he senteth his only begotten son... This madeth the humans so fing crazy that in a few short millennia they just bleweth themselves to atoms.
And He didst facepalm. Facepalmeth did he, so hard that he died.
The End.
I'm sitting here, wondering what those last couple dozen Greenlanders are feeling as they sit, waiting to die. As I do, I unlock Tier 3 and get... Depression. That answers that!
I'm sorry. After over 1000 souls, 1500 resources, and 45 minutes or so, I still don't 'get' this game. Perhaps it's a personal failing on my part? I dunno. But I just don't see the point.
If you have all your plants Symbiosis-ing to one plant, and you direct THAT plant to Symbiosis another plant, all the plants should redirect their plazer beams to the new plant.
Or perhaps an option to toggle between the current behavior (which was actually an acceptable alternative) and the behavior I just described.
This comment is also extremely excellent! Thanks! Maybe some 5/5 stars?
