The grind is Strong with this one. A shame because the graphics are great and overall the different aspects of the game are good. But the mechanics of supplies being so rare plus needing large amounts of them to do anything discourages play.
Just found when I was typing my last comment that combat also stops when you scroll down the page and the game window is no longer visible. On easy battles I'd like to be able to do other things than sit and watch a slow fight.
It would be nice to have the combat continue when you change to a different tab in your browser. My knee-jerk reaction was anti-energy but there's quite a lot to do in this game that even when you run out of energy you can still do other things. Plus the higher level heroes etc aren't out of reach for non-paying players.
My first thought was "Ugh, not another idle game." but you've put a great twist on it. There's some strategy and interaction. My biggest complaint is that you can't see what upgrades/skills a crusader has until you purchase the previous one. It's frustrating to spend so much time and gold leveling up and purchasing skills only to discover that the crusader doesn't have anything that you want in your formation. I didn't level Kaine for awhile and then I was irritated to find out he has a gold boost that would've helped me much sooner.
It broke when I clicked the X to close out the skill screen during the tutorial instead of learning the new hero skill. Have to redo the tutorial from the start.
I wish that clicking a combo you've already created would just say something to that effect instead of going through the animation then resetting your elements.
