There's something terrifying about the idea of zombies with shotguns.

I just have way too many complaints. The movement speed is low, the weird 'rubber-bandy' movement velocity is annoying, the fact that you can't skip the death cutscene until you watch 5 seconds of pointless crap is annoying, the fact your guy runs automatically to cars even if you have antidotes to collect is annoying, the fact that you don't have any invincibility frames and the health bar is almost pointless because if you start rubbing against a zombie at all you're pretty much dead is annoying (and there's no visual or aural clues that you're taking damage except your health bar silently and quickly dropping)... and of course, as the top comment elaborates on, the fact that the difficulty QUICKLY ramps INCREDIBLY high VERY early on then pretty much completely dissipates. What a bizarre game.

It's a fun game, but the main complaint I have is that EVERY upgrade costs the same and goes up in price when any others are placed. It makes it feel very difficult to not want to just mass one type of unit ever, plus maybe an EMP station here and there. For example, I've found that, like one of the top comments, Hulk Drones are almost universally magnificent and massing enough of them, even against heavy anti-drone troops, gets the job done; why would I spend $800 on ONE turret or mine when I could make another hulk drone for my glorious army?

And no less than A WEEK AFTER I STARTED, I finally finished this massive flash game. The ending was worth it.

Soooo... Do the HP ring and Regen rings work for your units too, or just Paladog?

Oh god, I decided to try to play without any upgrades at first so I could really feel what the upgrades did compared to my completely naked ship -- yet I still managed to get to the fourth boss, and get him halfway down. I probably would've gotten further, too, if I didn't lose morale over the fact that it was starting to take a loooong time to chew down a boss's HP with my molasses-slow pellet gun and my mouse weren't getting so sweaty.

There's a really rough hump at which I nearly stopped playing near the beginning, at which point you've destroyed all the defenseless towns but are still not strong enough to do much damage at all in any town with any number of gun-users. However, once past that point, the game is much, much more fun and progresses smoothly.

Wildly imaginative, wonderfully simple and surprisingly fun. All things to expect from the best Ludum Dare entries.

Mercifully far less of a timesink than the second one to complete everything, and just as fun.

Only needed to sink something around 5-7 hours of my life into this to do everything. Only feel like I have lost a part of it to never, ever reclaim, to watching a luchador flail around a bunch of gummy bears in vain hopes that I'll finally unlock that one mission that's completely luck-based and had taken me about 100 tries. Only wonder why it was strangely, entrancingly so much fun.

Finishing the game with 25 lives should give a better ending where the animals overrun and live in the human town or something.

I feel like there's something wrong when I finish the first stage with all gems in 39 seconds -- which is about as perfectly as it can be done -- and still get a B rating, which is as bad as if i take a minute and a half.

With the exception of getting all the stars in Level 14, which took me awhile to figure out, this game was nice and challenging without being frustrating. Great job.

I thought the first one was good, but this game takes it to a whole new level -- it's ridiculously fun and addicting, and more about just having a great time doing whatever you wanna do to complete the stages rather than trying to complete them all perfectly. Fantastic!

Gotta love trying to figure out who exactly you're paying money to to PUT MORE EXPENSIVE CANDY in the thing in the first place, and how they're doing it.

Probably the best platforming/puzzle hybrid I've ever played. I can't explain it, but it's rather soothing and feels just "right" to play, and the presentation couldn't be better in its simplistic state.

Between the fact baskets are so easy to make and the fact that getting gold medals is so challenging, you've created a game in which it's actually fun and satisfying to go for perfect completion whereas in most games that's where it becomes a chore. Really great.

Is it weird that my nose hurts and I get whiplash when I crash at 800+ speed?

Welp, now I see you're *supposed* to do it in one week, but it didn't seem to want to give me the treasure one until I had 20. Oh well! On a side note, there are SO few of the normal, smaller diamonds compared to everything else. By the time the loot goes from sapphires/rubies to diamonds, it's immediately at big diamonds too, and the big diamonds quickly flood everything, becoming the ONLY treasure at lower depths.

These trophies seem to be broken. I can get the 100-coin trophy but after that I can't get any of the other item-collecting trophies, even if I collect 15 treasures in a single GAME, and by now I've collected hundreds. I got all the depth trophies just fine, though...
