I wish it would scroll across the stage faster. It get's frustration: when all the action is on the other side of the level and the only way to see it is to go through that slow stage scroll.
Unlike a lot of sequels I've seen, which are essentially the same game as the first but with different levels: this game does exactly what a sequel should do: i.e. use the first game as a jumping off point to become bigger and better, whilst still incorporating all the things we loved from the first - such as grinding tonnes of MOSTLY zombie flesh into our over-modded car's wheel arch. This game definitely deserves full marks. It's so full of innovations and sheer content, that I can't give less in good consciousness 5/5.
Good game. Fun and addictive, very well made also. However it lacks content and variety: It needs some kind of story to drive it; as it is, once a player has past the first [I think] four environments, that's that! after which it just repeats and gets faster. Without some kind of story a sequel will essentially be yet more of the same repetitive crap.
Also the deal with the pricing in the shop and especially the redundantly high mission skip option needs to be fixed before making another, as it is it's still not proportional to the amount of money a player makes per run. That goes doubly so for the items necessary to unlock characters - as it is: they're just not worth the effort. I mean I've played for the badges, now I got them, I doubt I'll play this game again (for awhile at least) because it's farrr too stingy with it's rewards to the point that it's a put off. which is shame really, because it is a good game under all that.
I literally Laughed Out Loud when I saw that you had to collect and pay 5700 coins to skip the "Collect 2500 coins" mission :) . . . c'mon man seriously?!
For this game the story was the real selling point in my opinion. The puzzles themselves were too simplistic and easy for my taste, which let down the game. But other than that: it's a good play!
I've always found it funny how in nearly all point-and-click games: the player has the right to pick up and take whatever items are lying around regardless of who they belong to :-D.
I mean nice cloud-fishermen have let you on their ship and what do you do? Rob them that what. heheheheheheheh
I was kinda skeptical when I first saw this game, didn't really think much of the art initially but it grew on me as I preceded through the game. And after a bit of playing I got really drawn into the great story. Very imaginative and very fun to play.
WoW, this guy need to work on his planning a bit before suddenly going on an epic quest. I mean what if he didn't accidentally find that that magic handgun with unlimited ammo.
How exactly were you planning to shoot the devil in the face with then, hmm...
This game is actually awesome. But I think I'm in the majority when I thought 'dam boy, you want me to play a blocky Silent Hill, Heavy rain like game?'. Okay, I was skeptical. But after playing this a while, you realise: this game is actually scary. To anyone who likes the demo, I would definitely recommend getting the full game. I'm not gonna spoil anything for ya guys, all I'll say is that the main character is a complete an utter Nutbag. He doesn't even wear shoes... dun dun dun
It is amazing how to see these kinds of games knocking about, the emotive and easily relatable subtext is what I think this game is all about. Fantastic use of the interactive format for purposes of thought provoking art - essentially. I found myself thinking about my own bloody life throught the game and drawing comparisons which is a weird thing to be doing while playing around online really, so that was different. However the one thing that I do think the game lacks is interesting gameplay, from a purely pragmatic viewpoint: it it a very basic and dull side-scroller. Other than that, great game. 4/5
They just know how much you need it to complete your adventure, and Captain does not mind ;)
