Hey! It didn't give me $2 off! It gave me $2.50! That's false advertising! :D
Bought it, it has that special something that many games lack. That careful mixture of gameplay, music, customization, and (most important of all) story!
What?!! The army guys have isolated the city by sinking boats and setting up barriers?! They want to protect survivors in a secure location at risk of their lives?! They want to seperate the infected from the uninfected!?!! THOSE DESPICABLE SNAKES!!! I'LL KILL THEM ALL!!!
Well that sucks. If you have a full barracks you don't get the paladin from the angel. If you didn't know ahead of time that would happen you can't empty a slot for him... :P
By the way, who else wants to know how its even possible to get a high score of over 50 million without cheating? I guess breaking the game would work, but you'd have to get millions of skill points even so... What's up with me25's score??? :P
I quite enjoyed this. I'm a bit overzealous about spelling, so the common grammar mistakes made me twitch a bit, but the game was so enjoyable and interesting that I don't care. I really liked how you could lose some fights and still survive. Some games force you to always succeed to continue, and its refreshing to get some proper Roleplaying going. I found it really easy eventually, and became undefeatable. I maxed both defense stats and just one attack, got all the attack upgrades only, as well as the special increasing ability. All I had to do was defend, add special, defend, add special, defend, all power combined!!! = practically unstoppable 700+ damage megabolt. Only those with stuns or mana shield survived, and due to my focus on health, that was only til the next round. :)
Marvelous game. I am so excite to finally finish Mardek 2 now that saves work, and play Mardek 3 as well. I enjoyed the game so much, I actually tried to finish it all in one day before the save fix, but eventually died. This is going to be awesome. Keep up the good work Pseudolonewolf!
Just like in mazes, it's easier to find the correct path if you work backwards. Don't think about which squares you can connect to, think "where do I need to go?" and find something that connects to that, and work your way backwards until you find yourself, then execute.
Excellent game. Simple, but effective design, controls. Uncluttered and intriguing overall. Shame about the occasional stick on the directional keys when you zoom in. Makes it a pain to complete some levels. That's so minor though... I don't say this often, but 5/5. Great work guys
yi239: I just bought the first offensive spell for the first guy, then used the extra money from the third character to buy the second one the best sword, and gave him the first spell, and the last character the healing spell and the first weapon. Try that.
Interesting, but there are words missing, such as "altogether", and even "saturday and sunday" Normally I would like games like this, but I agree with PHGraves. Trying to figure out what words it would allow ruined it for me. :(
