The game takes forever to load, and then I have an “error” msg saying my browser doesn't support WebGL and that I should use Chrome. Well, I'm already using Chrome and my browser do supports WebGL…
No BOTD for me, I guess :/
Wooden cases should be destroyable. They are always in the way blocking the grenades and this is annoying as soon as level 1. They could maybe have 2 hit points compared to the 1 hit point zombies, in any case I think it would be better not to have indestructible wooden cases. ;)
I wish I could swap the in-game music with the one in the menu as I like. I usually prefer listening to soft introspective music while playing puzzle games. Also the music is too short with a silence at the end. It would be more pleasant to listen to a neverending music (without loop and silence) for better immersion. Still, it's a nice version of the genre!
Unfortunately, I do not see a way for me to let you switch the menu music with the game music, and I can't find a track that is long enough to feel endless.
I did, however, modify the music to have less silence in the end.
I think this game needs some rebalancing and a little more work. 1st try: I immediately fell into the water and died of exhaustion within a few seconds struggling to come out. 2nd try: I starved to death within a few seconds while searching the area attempting to figure out what I could drink/eat and how I could do so. 3rd try: The game went from fullscreen to normal screen in an endless loop (very disturbing), the controls were messed up, I couldn't jump and I died under the rain within a few seconds... Vitality decreases waaaaaaaaaay too quickly. The concept were promising though.
Thank you for such a detailed comment. It was interesting to read about your adventures on the island. I think this is very close to what would happen in reality (excluding problems with the fullscreen :)). That was the idea of the game. It is very difficult without the knowledge and skills to survive on the island. But knowledge and skills are acquired very quickly during the passage of the game (And in real life as well, a trained person can survive on an island with the necessary resources). But how is this possible for a little girl? This is the main question :)
But I will definitely think about your comments. Maybe you're right, аnd I need to think about a little rebalancing ... And I’m most likely to add some basic information to the video for the game.
And of course I will work on fixing bugs.
Like a lot of people, I earned all the badges of this game a long time ago and my easy badge is not detected for the BOTD because of the "Blocks BUG". We can't even report a missing achievement. How do we report this?
It's a really nice little game! It would be great to be able to 1-keep the gold after clearing an area, 2-"PAUSE" the game in order to spend the gold on "Upgrades" during waves. Also, it would be better to inform the player of wether the next wave is the "Final Wave". I found a bug: In area 2, the "Next Wave" button suddenly disappeared at the end of the 2nd wave. There was no other way to start the wave and no way to go back to the menu, so I had to refresh the whole page. Keep up the good work! :)
I love the atmosphere. Very soothing. I actually fell asleep for 20min listening to this in my headphones! This is a pleasant game as well. It's as if I were taking a nap in a bow window bed in a victorian steampunk submarine and then woke up to play with bubbles. Yeah... I know I sound like I'm not totally awoken... ;)
Nice and poetic version for a scrolling game! There's nothing more relaxing for me than the sounds of the ocean and the calls of the whales. I also like the choice to give ecological awareness to the player. Well done!
The moving background with giant stars, hearts, cats, eggplants etc, is very confusing. The collectibles and the platforms on which we have to jump are hard to distinguish at such a pace.
This game should have a menu giving at least access to settings that gives the possibilty for the player to change the game keys. As things stand now, this game is unplayable for all the users of non-QWERTY keybord layouts on which WASD keys are in a different place than on QWERTY keyboard layouts. I have an AZERTY keyboard whereon W and A keys are placed differently. Unfortunately I can't play neither in 2P mode nor in 1P mode because the keys in 1P mode are WASD by default. There's as well no option to choose to use the arrow keys instead. I would need to change WASD to ZQSD. It's a pity, this game looked simple but fun.
Thanks for your feedback. It is the demo html5 build. Game available on Google Play see link on description tab. I will try to fix this bug in html5 build. Have a nice day.
Bug fixed on level 20.
Really nice puzzle game! It's too easy though, I finished all the levels in a flash and I was hoping for more puzzles with higher difficulty. I felt as if I entered a nice party full of friendly people, ordered a drink, and someone suddenly shouted "PARTY'S OVER! HAVE A SAFE TRIP HOME!" before I even had the time to take a sip... It could also benefit from a few improvements here and there. Still, good job!
Great idea, cute and entertaining game! The game screen is too big to fit the PC screen though. It takes too long to collect diamonds and I wish I could buy other things in the shop than another character to protect. For exemple, a bigger sized shield or a thicker bubble which can sustain 2 hits instead of 1. Also, both the crown and the star icons in the menu do not work when clicked. Keep up the good work!
The piles of mahjong stones are tilted to the right at a way too pronounced angle. When a pile is very high, it covers adjacente mahjong stones on the right rendering them UNCLICKABLE. As a result, although there's no more possible stone matching, the auto shuffle doesn't trigger. The player is forced to shuffle manually, usually multiple times, and loses a lot of score points. The worst case scenario is that sometimes there's only 2 selectable mahjong stones, and one of them is covered/ unclickable. Even shuffling manually can't solve this, the only option is to quit the level and start it over. This happens so many times, at the prospect of having to undergo 40 levels in these conditions, I feel very dispirited. Please, implement either the option to slightly turn the game board in order to see hidden stones, or change the angle of the piles.
There should be a "RELAX" option with NO TIME LIMIT. And maybe a "CHRONOMETER" option just to see how fast one can find as many different words as possible on a level in order to set a highscore. Both of these options would prevent the players to be thrown back to level 1, and would make them actually PROGRESS through the game. A "LEVEL SELECTION" screen should be created. Otherwise, nice game!
Randomly searching for a treasure on random maps which look the same, and randomly dying is not really funny. It's a 1 LIFE ONLY game, therefore all progress resets to level 1 each time (how discouraging). No more shovelful or trigger a trap and it's instant GAME OVER. This game isn't enjoyable as it is and lacks strategy. There should be more than a mere set number of shovelful aloud to dig. Maybe a way to guess where the traps are, the possibility to keep the gold to hire a fellow pirate who will be blown away in your stead, clues such as "2 steps from a ROCK and 3 steps from a PALM TREE"? Moreover, the screen size is way too big and doesn't fit the PC screen. You need a little more work on this one. :)
Nice little Match 3 game, good graphics/ music, smooth swapping, but it needs improvements. The game screen doesn't fit, it is slightly too big, I had to reduce the screen size of my PC in order to see everything. Some levels should be recoded. For exemple, on level 8, there's 22 moves to make 3 sandwiches go down off the grid. I got rid of the 1st sandwich in 4 moves, but the 2nd sandwich only appeared on the grid when there was 3 moves left. Keep up the good work!
I agree with @Waddleduck, every level is pretty much the same and it's a problem when there's a total of 30 levels! (@_@) Too repetitive, no real challenge. As it is, it takes only a few minutes to complete the game and there is no proper ending, not even a "You Win! Thanx for playing!" message. Consider the introduction of new candies progressively to increase the difficulty and add some strategy. What about some kinds of power-ups? I had to reduce the screen size to 67% AND activate full screen mode in order to view the whole screen of the game. Lastely, I didn't came across any items to drop to the bottom of the game board, as mentioned in the description.
