For those struggling to get the "hard" badges, my advice to you is to complete enough maps to get about 1000 in monkey money. Once you start the match, buy the double cash upgrade as well as any others you think will be useful. Then save after the first round so you have infinite tries at the map without spending any more monkey money.
Really interesting bug: When you send a tentacle to another cell, the cell that you sent the tentacle from moves back slightly. By creating and the cutting tentacles, you can very slowly move cells to a new area (around walls, for example)
Bug: When you beat the final level, then use esc to skip the screen, the next battle you fight will go into the final battle endscreen (stars etc) which I don't think was intended.
If the game is muted, and then the page is refreshed, the box "Mute" is still checked but the game is not muted. You have to uncheck the box and then reclick it to mute the game again. (Chrome)
Can there be a way to call every wave early automatically and still get the coins? Like, an on/off switch? I always call the waves early for the free coins and it's annoying when I occasionally miss a wave and lose my coins or can't quite click on it fast enough and get 39 coins.
In response to the first comment: The gears fill the little yellow bar at the bottom of the HUD. When the bar is full, a random part appears for you to pick up. The random part is usually quite good, such as a good weapon that is normally reserved for later levels or a MOD that increases your damage by 25%
A few things...
First, the bonus multiplier (that you get when you level up) seems to affect the number of score multipliers that appear. This means that succeeding on the first attempt hurts your score (if you're going for a high score) because you will encounter fewer score multipliers on your first run through, when you are a lower level.
Secondly, the "faster fire" when you level up, actually hurts me, because when get the shotgun, the powerup bases its length on ammo, not a period of time. At the beginning of the game, I have shotgun for the entire run, later in the game, the powerup lasts less time and is consumed way too fast. I would ask that in a sequel or update, you make the shotgun based on a length of time, not ammo, so that you aren't punished for having an "upgrade".
Lastly, the "explosion powerup is way too weak in later levels. Please make it stronger.
I love how the pros and cons of each side basically cancel each other out. The Temple of Snakes has powerful weapons, and the New Hope Alliance have more health. lol.
I wish there was a way to "spped destroy" as well as to "speed build. When I'm finished with my 50 tech domes, it takes forever to destroy them all to make space for reactors.
When you level up you get an increased number of powerups, so you get more score multipliers. They are ramdomly generated.
