Hate to crap on a fellow developer, but this is a terribly slapdash and terrible game. It's a painfully boring grindfest, and an insult to real games. After the first level, which throws you right into the midst of it, it becomes incredibly easy, and I find myself playing other games while waiting for levels to finish just to get the achievements. I'd consider the balance and pacing to be laughably broken, but the only emotions it conjures are frustration and boredom. I can only hope that they learned from the experience and went on to make better games, but I'm currently unwilling to find out...
My apologies if the water doesn't reflect sunlight, and the atmosphere is dark, the lighting is being weird in the webplayer only. Working on a solution now.
Hey candytreeapps :) I'm a fellow dev who got his game ripped off by Ellis528. I've already reported that he posted your app as his own. The removed his copy of mine after a few hours, so it'll probably be removed by the time you see this.
On a brighter note, you guys did a good job on this game. I was never a fan of the original flappy bird, but I can appreciate the art style. I hope you make another game, hopefully something original, as I know you can do it and it would be more successful :)
Another game stolen, another game reported. You should have at least posted them on sites where they weren't hosted like all the other people who ripped off my games. But at the same time, it makes it much easier on me :)
This game needs Kongregate API integration so we can see stats and leaderboards, as well as allowing for the addition of badges if Kongregate so desires. Please look into adding this, it would make a great game better!
This is a good game, it reminds me a lot of my own game, GodSpace Galactic, another Space Sim. I'm intrigued by your particle systems though, how do you apply gravitational forces to a particle system? Anyways, 5/5, and keep up the good work, it's great to see someone else using Unity to create a unique space sim :)
I'll try and fix that problem, and the white dwarf light/flare has been decreased, it was only an hour old or so when I last updated :) And I've changed the Black Hole particles slightly, but I need to work on a better particle effects system before I can really make it professional looking. And the capital ship idea is great, I'm working on a destroyer class that kinda fits the bill. And more empire alignments and diplomacy styles are planned, but I've been too busy lately to work on anything too in depth. I'll spend some time this weekend on it for sure though.
My iPod keeps posting my replies as comments. Meant to reply to koolzoo's 2nd Feb 28th post about multiple empire alignments and the light from white dwarfs.
What a trippy game! My favorite room was the 4th one, where walking in one direction made certain rooms appear, but walking the other way made the other set appear. Well done!
Fixed the bug, should be working just fine now!
