*SPOILERS* For those who don't get it (I didn't at first either), level 22 is a slightly miniaturized version of the "Knight's Tour", where you move a Knight in such a way that it visits every square of a chessboard without stepping a square twice. The way the math works out, you can start anywhere on a chessboard and accomplish this goal.
Pretty cool puzzle, but it needed more cluing. I think a little silhouette of a Knight's chess piece somewhere on the screen would be sufficient.
If anyone else is having an issue with the game showing up as just a white screen, just right-click and select 'Play' from the box to get the game started. + if this helped you, so others can see!
Love the game, but why do you have that white flash every time you die? That gave me a terrible headache and made my eyes incredibly sore, especially with all the quick deaths in the final challenge.
This is really a class act in all respects. It improves upon its already wonderful predecessor in so many ways, providing a bullet hell player with everything they might wish for (enemy indicator at the bottom of the screen, an always-present hitbox, well-placed meters, high-contrast, control options, and so on), and the difficulty ramps nicely. The characters range in play enough to provide pleasant variety, and none feel too overpowered. I'm happy to purchase the expansion, and look forward to many hours trying frantically to get every achievement and perfect every level. Thanks for the great sequel, Kupo!
I selected the Xbox controller as my control method, but it wouldn't recognize my controller. I went to switch to keyboard controls, but the option to do so disappeared. So I don't seem to be able to play. I can shoot, but I can't move about.
...any idea what I need to do?
Quick cheap tip: if you continuously fire clones into a laser wall, the amount of bodies will pile up and the game will spawn men past the wall. Useful for skipping some sections, if you feel like it. + to keep alive.
The bots are ridiculous. I just played a match where they targeted me exclusively the entire match, and when they did fire at each other, they missed by a mile. How can I possibly do anything against them?
The imagery was nice, but some of the puzzles were a bit too obtuse. Also, I feel guilty getting a Hard badge for something that can be done from a walkthrough with zero effort (since the game demands nothing of your reflexes).
To get your badge, you can't just complete the game. You have to fill every square in the storybook. Make sure you ask everyone you meet about Derrida, and get every item. Then you'll have your badge Press + so everyone can see.
I found myself tearing up at the end. Very few games can achieve beauty like this. It's something that the adventure genre sort of comes with, this raw interaction with a world, but not everyone can create a world worth being in, and interacting with. You did. This was a wonderful escape into a place with people I won't forget. Thank you.
This is a hilarious game. It would be nice to have some more stages, like a rooftop, or a house, or a moving train, some stuff like that. And if it had a big free-for-all. Also, the ability to play online, with customizable characters would be fantastic.
@river dark star: Actually, the code is correct. If you look on the bookshelf there's a book that tells you to multiply the scores of the darts together. So, 9 x 3 = 27, 4 x 2 = 8, 6 = 6. Those are the scores. Now, multiplied together: 27 x 8 = 216, 216 x 6 = 1296. There's your code.
I got the same problem as PCX Firebird. After a mission, I get a gray screen, same thing at the start of the game. If I keep clicking, I go through several of them, then the game comes back. I assume they are supposed to be cutscenes. I guess they're broken for me and firebird.
Cutscenes, probably, yes. Try waiting for several seconds without clicking, like Firebird did. They should come back on. I just played through the game again and encountered no problem (using Chrome and Opera 12)
So I'm in Toron and the stations there have market values of 0.94 and 1.55. I can just buy a full load of supply goods in one and sell for a profit at the other, with nothing to stop me. Kind of a gamebreaker, I wish they would change or something. I feel bad getting a fortune this way.
Thanks!
