If the dark grey (used when things are unavailable) was tinted red it would be a lot easier to tell the difference. Right now there is a slight optical illusion happening between the black and the dark grey. Your eyes can't tell the difference if you look at it quickly or too long.

With a few more upgrades this game could be really nice. Like auto-harvesting/planting upgrades, or maybe an upgrade for your flowers to produce more.
