Fun game but it has some real balance issues. Especially in the late game / multiplayer. Defense just overpowers offence with the block mechanic invalidating many builds which makes me sad.
The single player of this game is like a fun semi-idol game.
I found the multiplayer pretty frustrating. There is no real matchmaking system so you either stay ahead of everyone and wreck or get destroyed over and over if you fall behind. Strategy also did not seem to play much of a part in 99% of fights. I would call it 'moderately discouraging' to get slammed by players with 10 times your stats 30 fights in a row.
I'm sorry to hear about this but keep in mind that a real matchmaking system will require thousands of active people and the fragmentation in leagues with different power levels.
Its a fun game but I felt like there was very little long term rewards. You unlock bonus options but only for the next run? The only real unlocks were the starting character. I dont feel like I wasted my time playing the game but I also don't feel like I would play it again in its current state.
This game concept could be really cool with some tweaking though.
Great potential but the lack of control really kills the game.. It would be better with 0 control and higher weight limits than the terrible AI that exists.
That Trial 5 is an extreem pain in the ass. It spawns an invunerable unit that does 99999 splash damage. Dont bother going for the 2nd hard achievement unless you want to spend 6 or so hours working on it.
The turrents are a waste of money and if you make more than 4 or 5 of those sentinels you will have performance issues later on. Make Launchers and buzz saws starting as far left as possible going right. Let the buzz saws touch and leave about 1/2 the launchers length gap between each of the launchers. Upgrade the valves as you go. Should get you your 100k combo in about 8 mins of game time.
Decent gameplay but OH MY GOD IS IT REDUNDANT! I had to really force myself to get through the first land mass. Dev- Please update it... When all of your top 5 comments are game suggestions that should be an indicator that your work is not finished..
Fastest badge guide: Pick Ice, Level H Attack to 8, Level L Attack to 8, Level Basic Damage to 3, Get HA and LA(That will get you started right.) You will want HA and LA for your lvl 1 and 2 spells, C and AP for lvl 3 and 4. Max out your attack and defence numbers, Get 'D, F, A, and K' for specials and level F to 20. Then you can defeat anyone easily by fighting for 4 turns and Hitting them with D with F on your turn, A on theirs. Do it twice and you can insta kill them with K. Stay Nutural! Avoid the black and white nonsense and you will have much more time to hit rank 1. Do it right and you should end up with about 3 years of free time waiting on the final battle after you hit rank 1.
If your playing for the badges you can not get the 'Grand mage' as a black robe unless you learn the potion.. (This will save you a second play though..)
This game is much more work than fun... To each their own though. Im not going to rate simply because I could see some people enjoying this sort of thing. (Although I think it would be best used in a school to teach kids how to type)
'Im going to go kill a whole army of werewolves!' 'Would you like to buy a gun?' 'Nah, Blew all my money on this fancy invisible suit, I will just eat them instead'
I'm sorry to hear about this but keep in mind that a real matchmaking system will require thousands of active people and the fragmentation in leagues with different power levels.
