Poor controls, too much of a jump between left and right, delayed response on controls, but great premise. maybe its bad bc internet explorer still on my computer
The horse mini game is so agravating. Not even bc its hard, but because there are freaking trees in the way of your character at times when you need to see obstacles.
Toad bosses are not that bad once you realize to take one character and permanently task him on using physical attacks on the totems. Its the boss after that that is ridic. No f***ing clue how to do that even with the walkthrough.
Are the upgrades cumulative or successive? ie When I buy the 10% attack upgrade, do I now have 15% (because I already bought 5) or just 10? Because that seriously affects upgrade strategy.
Great graphics, boring gameplay. Not totally awful.
But seriously, these animations make it worth it to slog through a few of these levels, at least compared to most of the graphics you get on this site. Good job!
There are some reasons you would want to mix units. Two swordsmen and one priest for example. Maybe a slow wizard with two archers to improve dps, but the former strategy is actually useful in some waves where you need to hold off a ton of units and your warhammers need a hp boost. Specifically the dragon level. Because you'll want a priest for the dragon, and the melee units can be kept away from the dragon easily, until you make the wizard into a priest at which point it won't attack and you can kill the spider. Though in pretty much ALL other cases, mixing units is silly.
