I admit, I wasn't thrilled as first (the early puzzles are pretty easy), but then the game goes three dimensional and things got more interesting. It was a well-executed progression of difficulty. Gotta love that.
1) This game is short. Very short. It never really got started. 2) Easy. So, so easy. Once you figure out the trick to this game, there's no real challenge. It never gets harder, even as the number of moves increases. 3) The visuals are nauseating, and the fluid quality has so actual gameplay effect. They don't really add anything 4) It's the exact same game as the first Coloruid. Nothing is new here, nothing is improved, nothing is interesting about this game. 5) Still, while mediocre in the extreme, there is a certain satisfaction to the game. Maybe with some time and creative input, this could be a good game. Right now, it's just taking up room on Kongregate's servers.
I really wanted to call out the Monument Valley thing, but they acknowledge their source material and do some really cool things in new ways here. I don't think it's a elegantly polished as MV, but it's a damn fine little game to see here on Kongregate.
For some reason, I never build up the money you're supposed to earn from beating tracks and nothing I do lasts between sessions. I always reset to Rank 1 when I want to play.
