I'm just going to repeat what everyone else is saying- the game is stolen, and this isn't the first time someone's tried uploading this exact game to kongregate. The REAL creator of the game can be found here http://samdangames.blogspot.com/ and in fact the game's feedback button takes you there. I'm amazed this stayed on the website for so long and even made it to top weekly despite being stolen...
As others have said, trying to start a new game after having played through the game will result in the tutorial prompting you to level up your starter monster despite it already having been evolved from your first playthrough (unless you dismissed it) thus resulting in not being able to play the game whatsoever unless you delete your save file.
To those asking for quality options- they exist, right click and you should be able to toggle them- but they don't help very much. And to those saying 'energy game 1/5', we get it, but compared to most energy games this game is pretty generous (you get full energy every hour, no matter what your max is). The devs are still working on the game, so (hopefully) a lot of the issues in the game will be resolved in time.
One note about the energy- The higher your max energy is (you get 1 max energy per level) the faster it'll regenerate. For example at level 13, you'll be getting one every minute and 40 seconds.
Though I'll be honest, the game is absolutely riddled with bugs, items will be used up but do nothing in combat, you'll randomly die no matter how much health you have left, and harvestable tiles will randomly appear as ready only to take away megacash.
As others have said, good idea, bad execution.
The only problem I have with the game is that a lot of the levels depend on farming respawning entities in order to progress, so you're just doing the same thing for roughly a minute hoping the game spawns enough larger ones so you can finish in a decent amount of time.
The biggest offender imo is the picnic level, where you have to constantly eat mice in order to -finally- be big enough to eat the piece of cheese and win the level, but the mice spawn rather slowly so this ends up lasting for nearly a minute or 2 just running around grabbing mice as soon as they spawn. Not fun.
It'd be nice if you were at least invulnerable for a few seconds after you spawned, in this case if you die by a center shooter you'll just keep dying until he passes the screen...
Hard Badge Guide: Start the game aiming for the Uzi- once you have that buy the second wall upgrade, then save your money for- a Quake Box, 2 Flamer Joes, and a S.C.A.R.. Place the box in the middle, and the joes to the sides, they'll cover the base from gunners and swordsmen. At this point you should be able to maintain a steady profit - once you get to that point buy nothing but gunners and 3-4 repairmen. Once you have around 40-45 gunmen, they should be able to kill everything before it reaches the Joes- so when that happens, sell every tower you have and replace them with Shield Generators- then work on maxing them out along with your wall. All that's left to do after that is buy the Old Glory and upgrade it. Finally, you'll encounter tanks and mechs- which are among the only enemies that the gunmen alone can't handle, thus when you see them target them ASAP. +ing is appreciated to keep this message up to the 5mill~ or so who haven't managed to accomplish this task yet.
Have to agree with painapples about the boosters- maxing them out is essentially a free ticket to the end of the game.
I was able to clear the entire map taking only 1 or 2 hits.
